The vacation apartment is located on the ground floor and has a kitchen/dining and living area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a shower and WC, 2 patios and a storage room. There is a parking space in front of the house and bikes can be placed in the bordering, locked annex. The vacation apartment is located on the edge of Dornum in a small settlement in a quiet location with bordering meadows and fields. In a few minutes walk you will be in the city and will find everything for your daily needs. Dornum is located about 7 km from the North Sea and is an ideal area for biking. Directly on Waterkant, or also in the mainland through East-Frisian marsh and meadow landscapes on well marked bike paths. Along the way, you will discover a lot of attractions, windmills, parks, brick churches, magnificent estates, old cities and castles.

In the therapy & wellness center in Dornumersiel, you will experience pure wellness: Thalasso, Ayurveda, treatments, massages, fitness, cosmetics.. or would you prefer waves? Then the water park 'Ocean Wawe' in Norddeich is perfect. There is also a 'Bambiniland' for 'small guests'! In a reed house by the sea, Dornumersiel, a small paradise for children all to themselves. The bike paths are well marked and there are a lot of attractions to discover like wind mills, parks, old cities and castles. Go biking directly on the Waterkant or also in the mainland through the East Frisian marsh and meadow landscapes.

wir waren mit 4 kindern und hund da. es hat allen gut gefallen. es war sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden. auch das internet funktionierte einwandfri. an regentagen wurde es nie langwielig. uno und romme hielten uns bei laune. vielen dank auch für den netten kontakt. wir kommen gerne wieder.

Aufwachen... und Kühe sehen!

Als junges Paar aus der Großstadt mit Katze und Auto an der Nordsee war die Ferienwohnung einfach perfekt.
Die Vermieterin ist nett, die Hausverwalterin ist auch eine liebe Frau und wohnt nicht im selben Haus (einfach klasse ;-)).
Das Haus liegt ruhig gelegen an einer Seitenstraße mit weitem Schlafzimmrtblick auf Felder, Kühe und eine Windmühle - traumhaft. Die Terasse geht in einen kleinen Gemeinschaftsgarten über- unsere Katze hatte hier sehr viel Spaß.
Alles war sauber und es fehlte an nichts (doch, wir hatten kein Backpapier!). Der Wohnbereich ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ziemlich modern (bis auf ein typisches 90erJahre Bild an der Wand und ein paar Kunstpflanzen...). Etwas funktionaler sind die Schlafräume, aber viel mehr haben wir uns dort auch nicht aufgehalten.
Dornum selbst ist auch... ruhig. Schön ist der Klönpub in der Innenstadt, der alle Fußballspiele überträgt und ein buntes Publikum hat. Ausflüge sind, am besten mit Auto, auch sehr gut, wenn auch nicht zwingend günstig.
Für Kinder sicher auch klasse, es gibt in der Nachbarschaft viele Tiere und in näherer Umgebung sehr viele Angebote, die man auch bei schlechtem Wetter nutzen kann.
Achja, Bröschüren zu einzelnen Unternehmensmöglichkeiten sind auch da, man muss also vorher nicht ewig im Internet suchen!
Wir hatten einen schönen runden Urlaub, mit ganz viel Entspannung. Vielen lieben Dank! Wenn nochmal Dornum, dann hier!
