Experience the true Bullerbü atmosphere! Åreryd holiday house is 200m² and ideal for 2 families. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in our wonderful, lovingly restored Swedish 18th century country house for up to 9 persons. This red and white, well-maintained house is located amongst flower meadows and old churches on a wonderfully big plot with a view of the dark green woods. It’s only 800 m to the nearest sea-side, and 1 5 km to the next one after that. This house is well furnished, airy, generously divided, has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a really cosy big kitchen, open fireplace, shower room with WC, 2 swings and sand pit in the garden. From summer 2009 you can borrow our boat for free. It’s only 25 km to Bullerbü and Katthult, and 35 km to Vimmerby. In summer and winter you’ll have enchanting picturesque days in one of the loveliest, most beautiful natural districts of Småland. We’ look forward to welcoming you.

Welcome to one of the loveliest regions in Småland and to Astrid Lindgren’s home country! Our lovely red-white Swedish holiday house Åreryd is located near to Ingatorp and Marianneland in an enchanting large garden with old fruit trees and lots of flowers, surrounded by dark green wood’s north of Ingatorp. There are lots of lakes here (the nearest ones are 800 and 1500 m away) for swimming, angling and boat trips, lots of animals (elks), plenty of woods to explore, walk in and dream, and nearby you’ll also find Bullerbü, Katthult and Vimmerby. Old and young will love the theme park Astrid Lindgren’s World in Vimmerby, where places and scenes of this wonderful fairytale can be seen. In the summer there’s golf in Eksjö, in the winter there’s skiing nearby, or in nearby Marianneland you can watch bonbons being made and confectioners working, and it’s only an hour to the sea. Everything your heart desires!
