Portiragnes: The Domaine des Tamaris - Portes du Soleil, lies only approx. 150-500m from the flat sandy beaches of the bathing resort Portiragnes-Plage. The maximal 2-storey terraced houses of this pleasant holiday village are spread across 18 hectare large grounds, which is dotted with many shady poplar trees. The central part of the Domaine is occupied by a generous pool complex - ideal for families with children – comprising of 3 swimming pools and two separate paddling pools, 2 whirlpools (July/August), a large sun terrace with sun loungers (fee applies). Further services include a children’s playground, a launderette (fees apply), pizzeria, snack bar (July/August), breakfast bread service, 1 free internet point at the reception and a multi-functional sports pitch. Shops and restaurants in a radius of approx. 500m.

On 1st fl.: double bedrm. with balcony; bedrm with two single beds or bunk-beds; bath/WC, approx. 12m² furnished terrace. The terraced houses are pleasantly furnished and well equipped for holidays (differences are due to the different private owners) and all have a kitchenette with hob and microwave. One parking space is available at each house.

Portiragnes offers its visitors not only the charming atmosphere of a traditional French fishing village; it is also close to a number of unspoilt Mediterranean beaches. On one of the most beautiful beaches in Languedoc with its deep blue, calm waters one can enjoy a wonderful holiday. The village offers something for everyone, whether walker, biker or simply nature lover! The old village Portiragnes lies on the Canal du Midi and is snuggled on a hillside surrounded by vineyards. The village centres on the church, whose origins date back to the 12th Century. Cap d’Agde (15km) and Béziers (7km) are close by.
