Balestrate (approx. 5000 inhabitants) has not yet been overwhelmed by mass tourism, meaning you can still enjoy its typical Sicilian flair. Hospitality and friendliness to children are part of the way of life here. Sun, sea and kilometres of clean sandy beaches, some with child-friendly lidos all go to make up an unforgettable holiday experience. Balestrate is in close proximity to the motorway system (about 2 km away), meaning the most famous sights of Sicily are in easy reach (e.g. Palermo 25 Min, Aetna about 3 hours). The bus and rail routes to such places as Taormina, Agricento, Segesta etc. are also ideal.

Zu zweit ein entspannten und unkomplizierten Spätsommer-Urlaub in Balestrate verbracht.14Tage; Strandurlaub, Städtetouren, Naturerlebnis, Gastfreundlichkeit pur!!!
Betreuung und Abholung waren tadellos und äußerst persönlich.(Für alles ein offenes Ohr!)
Appartement sehr sauber und gemütlich.Ausreichend Handtücher,Bettwäsche,etc.Küche ebenso gut ausgestattet.
Feiner Sandstrand,warmes sehr klares Wasser,gute Restaurants/Barsund Einkaufsmöglichkeiten!Sehr nette und aufgeschlossene Einwohner des hübschen Örtchens.
Das wird unser festes Reiseziel bleiben!

Wir sind hier für eine Woche in Juli 2009 gewesen. Es gibt genügend raum, es gibt eine grosse überdeckten Balkon (was gut ist in Juli) und es ist ruhig. Im vergleich mit ein anderes Haus das wir gemiettet haben war dieses wirklich “value for money”.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und gut eingerichtet. Die Betreung durch die Vermieterin und ihre Verwandten war sehr entgegenkommend.
Balestrate war ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausfüge nach Erice, Monreale und Palermo und zum Naturpark Zingaro.
Wenn wir wieder nach Balestrate kommen, werden wir wieder hier buchen.

Sehr freundliche, nette Vermieter.
In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden,
was benötigt wird und pico-bello sauber.
