Newly build unique traditional luxurious Bodrum stone house, ready since June 08, with 50 cm thick walls, cool in summer, warm in winter. Award winning property designed by artists (beds, dinner table, lights also individually designed). 300 m2 house on 1 acre of land with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6). Two fireplaces (outside as barbeque), 4 terraces, alarm, steam bath (sauna). Large pool with infinity overflow and strong jet stream and pool seats. Kitchen with Siemens stainless steel appliances incl. deep fryer, espresso machine, microwave, fridge with ice cube/ice crusher. Washing and drying machine in cellar. Beautiful unspoiled sea and mountain views. The Greece island of Kos is only 15 km from the property and can be seen. Ortakent is a peaceful town and one of the oldest human settlements in the area, a 10 min walk from the villa along a valley with citrus groves, olive, mandarin and fig trees. The seaside town of Ortakent Yahsi is 900 mts. from the villa, a favourite with the locals with its wide sandy beaches and good restaurants. The water is so clean (“Blue Flag”) and wind conditions so fantastic that it got a large sailing area. The Greek island of Kos is within sight. Bodrum or ancient Halicarnassus, the St. Tropez of Turkey, is easily reached by local bus (7 km). Boats start to the Greek islands of Kos, Rhodos, Simi, also the magnificent “Blue Voyages”. It features a magnificent Castle, the Myndus Gate, the Ottoman Shipyard Tower and a Museum of Underwater Archeology. It hosts several cultural festivals - notably the Ballet Festival in August, pop concerts at the Castle or in the 2000 year Amphitheatre. It features the biggest open air disco in Europe with a capacity of 4000 people.

A luxury hide away

We have enjoyed very much our two weeks at Tunelievi. The mansion is located with others at the top of a hill with breathtaking views.

Everything which is stated at the homepage is as it is. The house is furnished with high taste and combines local culture and design classics in a modern way.

We have been with our one year old twins and had a great time. In the morning and late afternoon we have been in the pool. The pool terrace does has also a certain roofing so that sun exposure can be controlled easily.

The landlords are very supportive and keen on serving a luxury stay. We have had a cleaning lady for 2 hours a day.

You will definitely need a car. The way to the beach is very close however it is selfexplaining that you will face a steep road towards the hill of Yarbasan.

Tesco (Kipa), Metro and delicious local food are close within a max. 10 min. car drive.

To make a long story short: We have enjoyed our stay pretty much and will consider to turn back again.

This summer we have been in this beautiful villa again for 3 weeks. The gardens are even greener than last year. Everything is blossoming. The owners were very forthcoming and everything was planned and organised perfectly. The large pool and the views during the day and at night are incredible. Beautiful and lively Bodrum is nearby and restaurants are fantastic. All water sports that you can think of are less than 1 km walk away. We even saw the house in the October issue of House Beautiful. We had again a perfect vacation in a dream house and would love to come again next year.

We spend our holiday in Yarbasan. It is a beautiful home, clean, fantastic bathrooms and bedrooms, exceptional views and 10 minutes walking to the nearby beaches. The pool and garden are fantastic. The tourist attractions, like Bodrum, side-seeings and restaurants etc. are in the vicinity. The architecture of the house and all the other houses are wonderful and the details are made with love. It was a very special and fantastic holiday for me. I can warmly recommend the house and the area.
