In Aucanada, above the bay of Alcudia, we are renting out our generous house in a villa estate in which Majorcans live for most of the year. From the terrace you’ll see the green foot of Sa Talaia Mountain on one side and Aucanada island on the other. 40 steps lead down to a tiny beach. Above there’s a living room and kitchen (40 m²) with terrace, a separate suite with bathroom and dressing room, and below on the pool level two bedrooms with bathroom, as well as a bedroom with cot and bathroom ensuite. All rooms have direct access to large, partly covered terraces. Bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped. Golfer und snorkelers will find it a paradise. From Palma airport it’s 45 minutes to Puerto Alcudia, Aucanada exit, turn left at the Italian restaurant and go on till you get to house no. 8. For pets we require a higher breakages deposit. Aucanada is an lived-in-all-year villa estate above the bay of Alcudia, at the foot of Sa Talaia, right in front of the new golf course. Aucanada is the last estate at the northern end of this bay. 2 minutes gets you to a small beach where you can go for a swim or a snorkel dive as you fetch the morning bread. With a (hired) bicycle or car it will only take you a few minutes to reach the flat sandy beaches of Puerto Alcudia or the natural beach of Platja de Muro, or even Albufera nature park, just right for exploring by bike in the afternoon. Alcudia, where you’ll go shopping (market on Sunday and Tuesday) is also easy to reach in a few minutes by car or bicycle, a small, well-maintained Majorcan town with Roman excavations, a mediaeval town wall and everyday Majorcan life.
