Photos and Description of this Dolceacqua holiday house

This typical Ligurian village house is situated in the heart of the mediaeval centre of Dolceacqua. From the generous roof terrace to the foot of the Doria castle you’ll have a wonderful view of the historic centre and the valley. The house, furnished for holidays, has two floors and a roof terrace. On the ground floor there is a large entrance, one bedroom (two single beds) with balcony and bathroom with bath. The living room with fireplace is on the first floor on the right-hand side, up three steps, beside the dining room and the large kitchen. On the left a stairway leads to the third floor with one double bedroom, a single bed room and a shower bathroom. A French window gives access to the terrace, from which a few steps lead to the roof terrace. This is partly covered and has a summer kitchen (grill, wash basin, fridge).

Romantic Dolceacqua is situated ca. 8 km from Ventimiglia and about 10 km from Bordighera. This town is the very picture of a mediaeval Ligurian town. Narrow winding alleys lead to the town’s landmark, the ruined Doria castle. You must take a look at the elegant stone bridges too that link the two sides of town, Terra and Borgo and which 100 years ago enchanted the French painter Claude Monet. Dolceacqua is ideal for trips into the Ligurian region and its romantic mountain villages, but also to nearby Côte d'Azur with Nice, Monte Carlo and Cannes.
