Welcome to Staufen, Southern Germany. Our new comfort apartment is available since August 2008 and offers space for 2-4 persons (80 m²). The apartment on the 1st floor has a separate entrance, private parking, and is in a new house only some minutes walking distance to the historical center. The apartment has 2 rooms, a huge balkony with view to the castle, separate sleeping room with double bed, huge living room with dining area and with a leather couch, 2 additional guest beds available, complete kitchen, private bathroom with tub and shower cabin. Very bright rooms with wooden floors, Flat-TV (cable TV) and DVD player. In less than 5 walking minutes you can find a vinery with farm restaurant, the historical center with pedestrian zone, several bakeries (fresh bread also on sundays!), various restaurants and beer gardens, train station, bus stop, shopping street of Staufen. Historical town in the Southern Black Forest

The apartment is right next to the historical Old Town with pedestrian zone. All the local restaurants, cafes, shops, bars,... can be reached in short walking distance. The walking path through the wine hills to the castle begins right next to the entrance of our house. A vinery with farm restaurant is next door. Enjoy Staufen and our special location in Germany. By foot, for free by public transportation or with the rental bikes. We will be happy to help you!

Wellness

Staufen is located right in the center of several hot springs with thermal baths like in Bad Krozingen, Badenweiler and Bad Bellingen. It is only a view minutes to the famous 'Vita Classica' hot spring with sauna paradise and wellness house. Ask for your package offers and wellness packages. With us you combine the excellence location of our house and town along with a wellness vacation.

Culture and sports

Staufen is a perfect location for fans of sport or culture. There is a little theater in the center of Staufen (a view walking minutes) which offers a very special atmosphere. Also there is our historical town museum, the ceramic museum and many different art galleries along the old little streets in the center. You will enjoy this area which reminds a bit of Old Venice. If you like sport you will find about all possibilities close to the house: tennis, nordic walking, jogging, skating, hiking, mountain biking, fitness... please ask us - We will be happy to help you!

Skiing Information:

Staufen is located right at the beginning of the famous Black Forest mountains and only a view minutes by car to reach some nice skiing resorts like Belchen, Feldberg, Schauinsland. We will be happy to help you identifying your desired nordic skiing track or alpine skiing area.
