It is a good, centrally located apartment in Prati, close to the Vatican. The apartment lies in the 3rd floor (with elevator) in a well-maintained Palazzo Condominiale in the Via Vespasiano, at a distance of only approx. 150 m from Risorgimento Square. It is approx. 500 m to Saint Peter’s Square. Via Vespasiano is a shopping street with many bars and pubs. You are well connected to public transport; it is only 300 m to the Metro station, several buses and trams with routes covering almost the entire city stop at Risorgimento Square, for e.g. you can directly reach the Basilica of Saint Paul outside the walls, the Villa Borghese, the Venezia Square, Piazza Navona, Circus Maximus, Colosseum, and the Roman Forum. Right round the corner is the shopping street of Cola di Rienzo, which is highly frequented by the Romans, with its various street cafes and pubs.

Prati is considered to be a very good and centrally located neighbourhood with cosy parks. Shops and pubs, each Pub within walking distance of the house, as well as the connectivity to the other districts of the city by buses and trains make this an excellent location. The historical district of Borgo famous for its pubs lies round the corner. The Romans and their guests from all over the world spend their evenings here in small pubs, which simultaneously offer typical Roman cuisine and atmosphere. The main point of attraction is that you live on the outskirts of the Vatican; Saint Peter’s square, St. Peter’s Dome and the world-famous Vatican Museum are only a few hundred meters away. The St. Angelo Castle (Engelsburg), Piazza del Popolo at the start of the historic centre, Mausoleum of Augustus and the Altar of Peace invite you to take a walk. If you arrive by train or by air, you can easily reach the house by means of the public transport. There is a car parking garage nearby.

It is to be noted that the holiday home is located in a good, central location which is well-suited for people who enjoy living in big cities as well as for those who prefer the quiet and tranquil. It is well connected to the historic centre by means of public transport. Perhaps it is also worthwhile to mention that you can arrive by public transport; the train connectivity is good and apart from that there are several, comfortable flights to both the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. Rome itself is situated between both train lines and is very well connected by the buses and trams.
