Photos and Description of this Olhao holiday house New House w/ sun terrace in pedestrian area

Our cottage is situated on the eastern Algarve in the 'moorish' city of Olhao, a fishing village in the nature reserve Ria Formosa (extraordinary flora & fauna), 8 km east of Faro (15 minutes by taxi), spared by mass tourism. Our 'Casa Formosa' offers modern comforts but has preserved the local style. In the ground floor is a modern kitchen, a cozy living room, a guest toilet, in the 2nd floor two bedrooms and a bathroom with tub. A special feature offers the local large roof terrace, from where a magnificent view over the rooftops of the city to the sea is possible. The house is located in the mosaics designed pedestrian zone filled with cafes and fish restaurants. The famous market halls are within walking distance, as well as a supermarket, Railroad (Tavira and Spain) and port, from where one reaches in 15 minutes the beaches of Armona & Culatra.

Mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern haben wir in diesem wunderschönen Haus 3 Wochen verbracht.
Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist absolut zutreffend.Zahlreichr schöne Strände sind mit der Fähre zu erreichen und schöne Ausflüge mit dem Zug möglich. Für einen ruhigen erholsamen Urlaub abseits vom Massentourismus bestens geeignet.

Beschreibung und Wirklichkeit stimmten überein. Wir fühlten uns dort sehr wohl. Nettes Häuschen, nette Stadt , kurze Wege zum Hafen, zum Einkaufen, Zum Bummeln - irgendwann gerne noch einmal.
Nachts auf der Dachterrasse - herrlich!

Ein Haus für uns allein! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt - ganz besonders auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick über die hübsche Altstadt. Kommen gerne wieder.
