This attractive apartment was newly equipped in 2004 and rennovated in 2006. It is situated on the mezzanine floor of a classical Berlin apartment house located on a traffic-free street close to Winterfeldtplatz in the Schöneberg district. It sleeps 1-4 people, max. 6 if they include small children. The studio apartment consists of a main room offering a separate two-level bedroom area as well as living and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. Broadbank DSL connection is available and its use is included in the price. The apartment is well placed for both the eastern and western centres of Berlin. Nollendorf Platz U-Bahn station, less than 5 minutes’ walk away, is one stop from KaDeWe (Berlin’s answer to Harrod’s), two stops from Bahnhof Zoo and three from Potsdamer Platz. Many interesting city centre attractions are accessible on foot from the apartment.

Schönes und vor allem sehr vollständig ausgestattetes (Küche!!) Apartment, sehr ruhig gelegen und für Hochparterre recht hell (im Wohnzimmer nehmen die vielen Bäume der Fußgängerzone im Sommer vermutlich mehr Licht, als es Ende April der Fall war). Die Küche mit kleiner Sitzgelegenheit ist aber sehr hell und mit schönem Blick zum unverbauten grünen Innenhof. Der große Innenhofgarten mit Bänken und Spielplatz (ich habe keine spielenden Kinder erlebt) kann zum Lesen und Ausspannen genutzt werden. Das Haus wirkt sehr gepflegt und insgesamt sehr ruhig. Von der Fußgängerzone kein Lärm - weder tags noch nachts. Super Lage im Schöneberger Kiez, 2 Min. zu Fuß zum Nollendorfplatz mit entsprechender U-Bahn-Anbindung, 3 Min zum Winterfeldmarkt. Fahradverleih am Kleistpark auch zu Fuß schnell erreichbar (Fahrrad Little John oder so ähnlich). Die Organisation von Schlüsselübergabe, Bezahlung etc. war perfekt.
