Casa Dei Limoni and Casa Degli, carefully restored, is separated into 2 separate apartments. The houses are located in the hills of Patti within a 50 ha bio lemon and olive grove. Peaceful, sunny location, ideal for families with children. From the four apartments you will have a fantastic panorama view of the Aeolian islands. About 100 m away you will find the mansion where you can buy homemade products like oil, wine, fruit or vegetables. All four apartments are furnished with style and functionality. They have separate entrances and also have a private external outdoors area, furnished with garden furniture, a shower outside and a grill. The bordering grass can be used for sunbathing. The sand beach is about 7 km away. The 1st shopping facility is 1 km away. Shops, banks, restaurants and the train station are located in Patti (8 km away).

Patti, an ancient Sicilian small city, is located on the north coast, about 65 km west of Messina. With its beautiful sand beaches and cliffs, it is one of the most beautiful coasts in Sicily. The Norman cathedral and the ruins of the Villa Romana with its precious mosaics and ceramic museum are worth seeing. Tyndaris, an ancient Greek-Roman city, was built in 396 B.C. Important archaeological finds like the Greek theatre, the Basilicata, the thermal springs and the ruins of the ancient city wall. The nature reserve 'La Marinello' is characterized by its sand dunes and is surrounded by 3 small saltwater lakes. Furthermore, there are also caves that can be reached on foot or with a boat. More interesting destinations are found in the Aeolian Islands. Ferries are possible from Patti of from Milazzo (30 km away). In Milazzo, you can visit the medieval castle and the typical Sicilian fish market.

Casa Dei Limone 1

We loved our stay at Casa dei Limone 1. It was a wonderful location up in the hills near Patti surrounded by Lemon and Olive groves. We were welcomed warmly by Gerda and Nino and despite the language barrier (we don't speak Italian or German and their English was minimal) we made ourselves understood with few words and much smiling, nodding and hand gestures!

The apartment was spacious, clean and nicely decorated and one minor breakage was promptly fixed. The pool was beautiful and again very clean with ample sunbeds and shade.

We highly recommend this apartment. (Incidently, we were initially disappointed that Casa dei Limone 1 was on the ground floor but as it turned out it is far nicer than Limone 2 as you get to eat outside and still have the wonderful view of the sea.)

Fresh produce from their organic farm was a generous and delicious welcome gift - lemons, tomatoes, peppers, figs and fresh basil. All extremely tasty!

Many thanks, Gerda and Nino, it was a memorable holiday.

wunderschöne ruhige Lage-toller Meerblick

Wir waren Ende September mit unserem kleinen Jungen 2 Wochen in di Casa de Ulivi und waren begeistert über die herrliche Lage.Unser Kleiner hatte viel Platz zum Spielen ,der Swimmingpool wird täglich gereinigt und alles wird sehr gepflegt und ist sehr sauber!Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit,haben immer was zu lachen und unser Kleiner wurde sowieso von den Sizilianern sofort ins Herz geschlossen.Früh am Morgen frühstückten wir immer auf der terrasse und hatten dabei einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und die Liparischen Inseln.Von Nachteil könnte sein ,daß man unbedingt ein Auto braucht,da man ca 10 min bis Patti den Berg hinunter braucht.Aber dafür ist man schnell in den Bergen und im Hinterland nicht weit zum Ätna.Es gibt im Umkreis von 30 km mindestens 4 Supermärkte,zu empfehlen sind aber die kleinen Geschäfte in Marina di Patti.Dort geht es sehr familiär zu und schmeckt einfach besser.Ein sehr gutes Restaurant ist ca 500 m entfernt,ein Agriturismo mit ausgezeichneter Küche!
Es war ein wunderschöner ruhiger Urlaub in einem Olivenhain,sehr zu empfehlen für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.Schöne grüße auch an die netten Vermieter!

Die Wohnungen und die Umgebung (großzügiges Gelände mit Oliven-, Zitrus und Feigenbäumen) sowie der geräumige Pool entsprechen den Bildern im Inserat. Man wird nett empfangen und über alles informiert. Unser Aufenthalt Anfang September in der casa ulivi mit 2 Kindern verlief sehr entspannend.

schön Ferienhaus zwischen die limonen

Wir waren in Mai 2009 mit unsere familie (eltern, 4 kinder, 17,15,12,11) in Limone 2. Es war sehr gut.
Das Wetter war 20-24 graden
Das
schwimbad had uns, ins bisonder die kinder, sehr gut gefallen. Die wohnung war sauber, und alles was man braucht war da. Patti ligt sehr gunstig vor Ausflugen in die Umgebung. Die Insel Vulkani , und Cefalu hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Wir wollen bestimt zuruck kommen zu Sicilie und Patti
