The apartment can be used by 1-4 persons and consists of one main room, a separate kitchen with dining table and a bathroom with shower. The apartment was redecorated and partly refurnished in 2008, is very clean, bright and quiet. The house was built around the turn of the 19th century and has since been renovated several times. The windows are towards a quiet dead-end street on the one side and toward an inner courtyard on the other side; the apartment is thus very quiet also with open windows.

The excellent location in Vienna's central 3rd district makes the apartment an ideal starting-point for any visit. The subway-station is just 2 min. on foot. Without changing the line you can quickly reach St. Stephen's Cathedral (4 stations), the shopping miles Landstraße (1 stop) and Mariahilfer Straße (7 stops), the central train station 'Wien Mitte' with airport connection (2 stops) and the arcitectural highlight Gasometer (2 stops). Just outside the apartment on the lively Kardinal-Nagl-Platz you will find a variety of shops and restaurants, the Rabenhof Theater and the tram museum. The 3rd district is home to the Belvedere Castle, the Stadtpark, the Vienna Concert Hall, the Akademietheater, the Kunsthaus and Hunderwasserhaus, the embassy district and many other attractions. Taking bus no. 77A you may also conveniently reach the Prater amusement park, the main stadion and the Danube Island.

We had six days here 19-25 November. The place was clean, fresh, nicely decorated and convenient, 50 metres to Metro line, bus outside the door, an internet place in the building, supermarket and nice restaurant opposite serving traditional Austrian food. The price was reasonable also. Patrick the owner, who is English speaking met us at the apartment and was very friendly and helpful. Although it's a studio, the foldaway bed al la NY provides more elbow room. The only shortcoming was lack of a washing machine. Wi Fi would have been nice to save struggling with German keyboards. Vienna is art museum city - we caught a great Klimt ("The Kiss") exhibition at the Belevdere and covered Hundertwasse's various sights pretty well. We also had snow, and can testify the apartment is warm in winter

Eine kleine gemütliche Ferienwohnung,die alles hat was für einen netten Aufenthalt in Wien ausreichend für 2 Personen ist.Von hier aus geht es super schnell in alle Teile der Östereichischen Metropole.Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.Leute mit Problemen beim Treppen steigen,sollten wegen des fehlenden Fahrstuhls Abstend nehmen von dieser Wohnung.
Wir haben uns jedoch super wohl gefühlt,und auch der Konntakt zum Vermieter war zu jedem Zeitpunkt überaus toll.
Bei unserer nächsten Reise kommt er für uns auf jeden Fall wieder in Betracht.
Alles für den täglichen Bedarf kann man in unmittelbarer Nähe erwerben.
Alles in Allem ein toller Aufenthalt ,vielen Dank

Zentral gelegen, ruhig und angenehm!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral, sie ist gut vom Flughafen zu erreichen und durch die nah gelegene Metro-Station ist die Entdeckung Wiens ein leichtes. Die Ausstattung ist angenehm und freundlich und auf Grund der Baustruktur ist die Wohnung auch absolut ruhig. In Punkto Sauberkeit gab es keinerlei Abstriche zu machen. Der Besitzer der Wohnung hat uns persönlich begrüßt und uns mit ausreichend touristischen Infos versorgt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich verschiedene Läden und Lokale. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung weiter empfehlen.

Empfehlenswerte citynahe Wohnung zu zweit

In wenigen Minuten gelangt man zur Innenstadt oder zu den Ringstationen, von denen aus die Sehenswürdigkeiten bis in die Außenbezirke schnell zu erreichen sind. Mitten im 3. Bezirk gelegen ist es in der zweckmäßig eingerichteten und gemütlichen Wohnung wegen der Hinterhoflage absolut ruhig. Es ist möglich, zwischen den Besichtigungen Ruhepausen einzulegen und dann wieder auf Tour zu gehen. Zuguterletzt sei auch die recht gute Anbindungsmöglichkeit an den Flughafen zusammen mit dem Rat erwähnt, nicht die teure "Cat", sondern die S-Bahn oder die Regionalverbindung der ÖBB zu nutzen.
