Ideally located near the Metro: 3 stops from Termini Station and 800m away from Tiburtina Station (air terminal from Fiumicino airport). In few minutes you can reach the Vatican, Trevi-fountain and the Colosseum. In summer a short midday-siesta is possible (air-conditioning)! In the neighborhood there are many shops, markets, supermarkets, restaurants and pizzeria. From Fiumicino airport you take the Terminal- train to Tiburtina Station and then you take the bus for 2 stops or walk to casa Stamira. If you come from Ciampino airport you take the bus to Termini Station and then the Metro B (direction Rebibbia) and you get off at the 3rd stop “Bologna”. In Termini you can also take the bus nr. 310, which stops in Piazza Bologna. If you want, you can go for many not expensive restaurants, pizzeria, pizza-deliveries which are located near the apartment where you will find guide-books, ideas for your shopping and offers concerning restaurants, typical locals and suggestive entertainments.

You can reach Villa Torlonia in few minutes visiting its beautiful monuments, buildings and museums, as well as the Catacombs of Santa Costanza. From Piazza Bologna the connections to Ostia Antica and/or Ostia Lido (seaside) are very practical (ticket fare only 1€!) and from Tiburtina Station which is 500m away leaves coaches to Tivoli, where you can visit Villa Gregoriana, Villa d’Este and Villa Adriana. From Tiburtina Station you can also take the train to Fiumicino Airport.

Die Angaben im Online-Inserat sind völlig korrekt - einen winzigen Zusatz für Gehbehinderte könnte man vielleicht noch ergänzen: Der Aufzug hält immer nur auf "halber Treppe". Wir fanden die Ferienwohnung sehr sauber und gepflegt vor und die Betreuung durch die Vermieter war hervorragend - sogar ein "Überlebens-Kit" erwartete uns in der Küche! Die Wohnung ist sehr zweckmäßig, vollständig und gut eingerichtet und wir können sie guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Dank der Nähe zur U-Bahn ist man in wenigen Minuten mitten im Herzen der Stadt (z.B. beim Kolosseum, den Foren, oder beim Vatikan). Zu Fuß gut erreichbar ist die "Villa Torlonia", ein kleiner Park, in dem man joggen, spazierengehen oder die Museen besichtigen kann. Geschäfte, Markt und Restaurants des Viertels sind sehr gut und authentisch und kein "Touristennepp"!
