The villa Ponta Do Dardo is in the idyllic, peaceful complex Serra e Mar near the long beach of Alvor not far from multiple beautiful golf courses like Meridian/Penina or Alvor. The cottage villa (290 m²) is located in a 5000 m² property with a guest house (80 m²) & is on a hill with a sea view. The spacious living room is on the 1st floor, has a fireplace, SAT-TV, CD player, is cosily furnished & leads to the spacious terrace with 2 BBQ spaces. The villa has 3 bedrooms and 3 en suite bathrooms, a safe is in one of the bedrooms. All bedrooms share a door to the garden & terraces. The pool is in an attached indoor hall with sauna & showers. The kitchen is well equipped & has a gas stove with an oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine. The guest house has a bedroom, bathroom with shower and bathtub, living room with TV-SAT, kitchen (stove, refrigerator, washing machine) and a corner with a BBQ space.

The closest city with shopping facilities is the Retail Park in Portimao, a 5 minute drive away. In a radius of 3-4 km you can get to a row of good Portuguese and international restaurants. The coast is visible from the upper terraces - distance about 4 km to the left with the famous cliff formations of Praia da Rocha and right about 3 km to the flat beach with many beach restaurants - ; along with the stunning mountain panorama of Monchique. The beach of Alvor can be reached in 7 km by car with different water sport options. The closest golf course (36 holes) is 2 km away, the 2nd (Penina). Historical excavations, among others, with a Celtic grave are 1 km away. The closest marinas are located in Alvor, Portimao and Lagos. Countless cultural and musical events are offered in Portimao. There are good connections to Lisbon, Madeira (with the ferry from Portimao) and Seville. You can hike on the coast and in the Monchique mountains.

Super schönes Haus = Super Urlaub

Sehr gepflegtes und schönes Haus mit allem was man für einen schönen Algarve Urlaub benötigt. Die Vermieterin und auch die Putzfrau waren sehr nett.
Auto ist ein muss da man zum nächsten Strand (Alvor) oder den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 7km fahren muss.
Nachts konnte man zwar die Schnellstraße oder eine Bar in der Nähe hören, aber wer keinen zu leichten Schlaf hat bzw. gerne guten Landwein trinkt dürfte damit keine Schwierigkeiten haben.
Wir hatten wirklich einen schönen Urlaub!!!
