  • Since we use our villa ourselves with 3 children, the house has excellent equipment. The villa has an incomparable charm. The rental price per day for up to 6 people for the villa is $165.00 plus 11% legal tax and $ 125 final cleaning. During Easter, Christmas and New Years there is a seasonal fee of 20% with a minimum stay of 1 week. Included in the rental price are bed sheets, towels, pool care, garden care, garbage disposal, TV, internet and telephone fees (Regional) and water consumption. Electricity consumption is included in the rental price up to $ 35.00. The security deposit is $ 450.00 and is to be paid before the beginning of your vacation. You can book cleaning additionally. We would also be happy to get you an insured boat or a jet ski of your choice. We wish you a stunning vacation by us.

Arrival from Germany/rental car:: There are flights from Germany with Air Berlin from Dusseldorf and Munich non-stop to southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (only 30 minutes from our villa). Alternatively, a lot of airlines fly to the airports in Miami (2.5 hrs from our villa) or Orlando (3.5 hours from our villa). Rental cars can be booked inexpensively directly from the airport through different agencies like Alamo, Hertz, Budget and they can also be given up at the airport again. A credit card is usually needed for a booking. You will get driving directions to Villa Sand Dollar from our management before your arrival.

Security standards:: The villa was built in 2000 and was renovated in the middle of 2007 and completely newly furnished. In December 2007, the villa was rented for the first time. There are hurricane shutters and hurricane kits available for emergencies. These can be installed by the management upon request. Furthermore, there is a safe in the villa for your valuables. This however, is not insured and is to be used at your own discretion.

Climate:: Florida is known as the Sunshine State, because the sun shines throughout the year. There is a mild, sub-tropic climate and it is thus recommendable for all seasons. In spring, fall and winter, the temperatures are about 20-30 °C, during the summer about 30-35°C. The Gulf of Mexico seldom goes under the 20°C border. During the summer months, the water can warm up to as much as 34°C.

Great Villa!

Our family had a great time here. The home is beautiful with plenty of space for all of us. The pool area is fabulous. We spent a lot of mornings and evenings out there.

Everything was clean and inviting when we arrived. The property manager was very friendly and attentive.

We rented a boat from Cape Coral Boat Rentals and had a great time out on the water. I would recommend them for your boating needs - secure your rental early though.

I would definitely recommend this villa to our friends.

Traumurlaub im Traumhaus

Wir haben 3.5 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht und haben trotz einigem Überlegen keinen einzigen Kritikpunkt finden können.
Alles erstklassig.
Nach langer Anreise sind wir um 20 Uhr Ortszeit müde angekommen. Das Haus war wunderschön vorbereitet und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.
Morgens dann konnten wir die herrliche Aussicht über den Kanal genießen.
Das Haus liegt in günstiger Nähe zum Cape Coral Parkway, über den man schnell nach Ft. Myers und so zu allem Anderen gelangt. Auch ein großer Supermarkt ist in direkter Nähe, sodaß man auch mal schnell etwas besorgen kann. Gerade für einen Familienurlaub, wie in unserem Fall mit 2 kleinen Kindern, ist das Haus optimal, wobei man zwangsläufig den Pool im Auge behalten muß. Aber alle Türen können so verschlossen werden, daß sie von kleinen Kindern nicht geöffnet werden können.
Ferner hatte das Haus eine Komplettausstattung, bei der es an wirklich nichts mangelte, ganz im Gegenteil.
Die Eigentümer des Hauses sowie die Betreuung vor Ort sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und absolut zuverlässig.
Wir würden(und werden) jederzeit wieder Urlaub in diesem oder einem anderen Haus dieser Vermieter Urlaub machen.

Ein einmaliger Urlaub in einem perfekten Haus!

Wir (Familie, 47, 45, 15, 12) haben in der Villa Sand-Dollar einen traumhaften Urlaub verlebt, in dem uns wirklich nichts fehlte.

Schon bei der Begrüßung durch Nicola nach der langen Reise fühlten wir uns gleich heimisch. Sie war sehr kompetent und hat uns alle kleinen Wünschen die wir noch hatten sofort erfüllt (wir hatten zu wenig Stecker, die Batterie für den Garagensender war leer). Außerdem war sie auch in schwierigen Situationen sofort zur Stelle. Danke Nicola!
Das gleiche gilt für Christian!

Das wunderschöne Haus hatt alles, was das Herz begehrt, ob das genügend Handtücher, die reichhaltige Küchenausstattung, die Sauberkeit und auch die schönen Zimmer betrifft. Der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt, die Kinder und auch wir haben hier sehr viele Stunden verbracht. Leider haben uns die no-seems (manche nennen sie auch "see-me-nots") manchmal etwas gepiesackt, auch unter dem screen, aber das ist während dieser Zeit (Juli/August) leider nicht zu vermeiden.

Da das Haus über einen Bootssteg verfügt, konnten wir uns für eine Woche ein Boot mieten (unbedingt machen!), mit dem wir tolle Touren nach Sanibel oder Captiva oder Ft. Meyers Beach gemacht haben. Wir haben Delfine und Manatees gesehen und Sanddollars gesammelt - es war fantastisch! Der Weg vom Haus zum Caloosahachee? River dauert ca. 30 Min. aber unterwegs gibt es tolle Häuser und Yachten zu sehen.

Wir können dieses schöne, moderne, gepflegte und saubere Haus mit der tollen Betreuung (auch durch die Eigentümer) sehr empfehlen und würden immer gerne wieder dorthin fahren, vielleicht das nächste Mal in eines der beiden anderen Häuser. Falsch machen kann man da nichts.

Toller Urlaub!

Durch die genaue Online-Beschreibung der Villa Sand Dollar hatten wir schon vorab eine gute Vorstellung des Bungalow bekommen. Die Angaben bestätigten sich vor Ort. Der Bungalow ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat eine gehobene Ausstattung und ist sauber und gepflegt. Ein weiteres Plus ist die Lage des Hauses am Kanal. Sehr reizvoll und ruhig. Vom Vermieter erhielten wir vorab schon eine Informationsmappe mit allgemeinen Angaben. Eine weitere Mappe mit Ausflugsangeboten ect. lag im Haus. Vor Ort wurden wir ebenfalls sehr gut betreut und erhielten auch hier den einen oder anderen Tip. Auch unsere Kinder (12 und 17 Jahre) haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Schwimmen mit Delphinen. Wir haben dies im Dolphin Plus in Key Largo gemacht. Dort war dies ohne vorherige Reservierung möglich. Durch den W-Lan-Anschluß konnten wir unseren Laptop optimal nutzen (auch für Informationen über Ausflüge usw.).
Wir würden den Bungalow auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Super! Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen! Erstklassiges Haus, mit super Lage und Vollausstattung. Freundliche, deutschsprachige Beratung vor Ort! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und werden dieses Ferienhaus mit Sicherheit nochmal buchen!
