You will live in a stunningly peaceful area near the Schwansee castle with Gault Millau - a distinguished restaurant. The kilometer-long open Baltic Sea beach can be reached in a 5 minute walk. The villa 'La Mer' was made in 2008/2009 ecologically (geothermal and solar energy) in an exclusively equipped reed villa with two luxurious units 'Savoir Vivre' and 'Fleur de Sel'. The villa is located on a beautifully designed property with 5 patios, sunny garden chairs and shady places to relax. The total property is surrounded by a stone wall and with roses and local plans. You can enjoy the view of the wide landscape and the Baltic Sea from your extra 'open air' living room on the 50 m2 roof deck.

Upon entering the villa through the elegant entrance area, the spacious, open 60 m2 large living/dining room welcomes you with an open fireplace, HiFi system and library. In the large kitchen you will find adequate space to also prepare comprehensive menus. Upon request, we can organize a cook who will pamper you and your guests with creations. The equipment in the kitchen leaves little to be desired. Upon arrival, you will find a selection of international wines that you can try for attractive conditions and you can also have delivered from our renowned wine partner in smaller and larger quantities. Furthermore, on the ground floor you will find a completely equipped bathroom with separate WC and a utility room with washing machine, washing machine, cleaning options for sport equipment, etc.

  • Prices are for a booking with 3 people. For bookings with 4 or 5 people, the day price is € 30 extra for every season, for a booking with 6 to 8 people, the day price is € 70 higher during all seasons. Electricity, water, heating, internet and landline telephone in about 20 countries, swimming pool and sauna usage including bed sheets, towels, pool towels and basic equipment for bathroom and kitchen (shower gel, tabs, etc.) and your beds are naturally freshly made upon arrival. Children under 3 years of age stay free (high chair and crib available). Final cleaning € 150.
  • For a stay of at least one week, a 90 minute cleaning is included - including new towels per week. Long-term stays possible. For stays of more than 14 days, an extra surprise awaits you.
  • The units 'Savoir Vivre' and 'Fleur de Sel' can be rented as a complete house. The price for the complete house is calculated from the sum of the daily single price minus € 30. In this case, both units can be used together as one unit through the shared connecting doors.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house.

The accomodation was even more impressive than we had expected. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the utility room. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed several warm evenings dining on the outdoor roof terrace and star gazing. There was a vast selection of books and CDs and an excellent entertainment system (with TVs in most rooms).

Our children were very pleased to have the use of the indoor pool, which was kept at a very pleasant temperature. They also were very happy in the loft bedroom, and thrilled to find a cupboard full of games and toys. The owner has paid particular attention to making the house comfortable for children of all ages.

There were bicycles for adults and children, which were put to good use on the extensive and beautiful cycling route along the coast. We enjoyed the services of the local baker, who delivered fresh buns to us every morning. We also had a mid-week cleaning which could have been more thorough but nevertheless was appreciated.

The house is in a very nice, quiet road, next to a stately home hotel, which has lovely grounds and outdoor dining. The beach is a very close walk, down a shady promenade. There is nothing here that will disturb the peace and, although you will have to drive further away for groceries, it is a beautiful spot, well placed for a relaxing break.

We will most certainly be back - in either summer or winter.
