A small romantic resort with only 12 apartments in the quiet north of Gran Canaria island. Wonderful view to the mountains with Tamadaba national park and go the sea with Spain’s highest mountain Teide in the background. 2500sm garden, large swimming pool, sauna, a lot of small terraces, boccia, chess, WiFi-hotspot, internet, fresh rolls every morning. a very quiet place. we can offer you three different types of apartments: Tipe1 small: 36sm, 1 up to 2 persons, 1 sleeping room, 1 living room with kitchen, bathroom and balcony , price is 36,-/night, tipe2: middle, 55sm, big living room, separate kitchen, satellite TV, washing machine, 1 sleeping room, bathroom, terrace, at the price of 45,-€/night. We had a great holiday at El Angosto. Agaete is a perfect base for a walking holiday far away from the crowds. It is a friendly welcoming place.
The apartments are in a great location high up overlooking the town, port, sea and mountains. The garden and terrace are filled with wonderful flowers and it is perfect to sit out there in the evenings looking out over the sea. The pool is good (if a bit cold) and never crowded. Everyone we met was cheerful and friendly. There is a lovely evening walk down steps to the baranco and then along the promenade by the sea to the beach. The beach is rocky with some sand. Snorkelling is fantastic and we saw lots of interesting fish.
There is an internet hotspot out on the terrace and we suggest you bring your laptop. There is a computer provided as well, although the shift key did not work when we tried it which is a bit limiting. Internet speed is good. We had satellite TV and had no trouble in finding over 500 channels. Most channels are in German and we only found one in English.
You should understand that these apartments are not new and have seen better days. However, we were perfectly comfortable there. Cooking is on 2 rings. We had a coffee maker and a large fridge/freezer. There is a shared microwave. There is a shared washing machine and drying racks are provided. Linen and towels are provided and if you want clean ones, just ask.
You will need a hire car here and the motorway starts at the end of the road. There is an excellent supermarket one junction along the motorway.
Overall, this is a really nice place and a great out of the way location for exploring the island. It is run by nice friendly people. It is old and a bit worn out, but who cares. Just sit out on the terrace with a glass of wine and relax.

wir hatten einen angenehmen ruhigen Urlaub in der Anlage El Angosto. besonders beeindruckt haben uns die blühenden Gärten und der wunderbare Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Besitzerfamilie ist außerordentlich hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Zu erwähnen ist der tägliche Brötchenservice. Unser Appartment war sehr sauber, und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Luxus ist allerdings nicht geboten.

OK mit großen Abstrichen

Lage des Objektes ist sehr gut. Die Ausstattung ist leider unter der Norm. Das Feriendomizil bedarf einer dringenden Renovierung. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ viele Wünsche offen. Der Vermieter war anfangs um uns sehr bemüht, diese Bemühungen wurden genauso wie der Urlaub leider weniger. Im derzeitigen Zustand kann ich dieses Feriendomizil leider meinen Freunden nicht weiter empfehlen, schade,schade. Der Ort und die Restaurants im Hafen sind empfehlenswert. Die Insel ist sehr schön und unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Wir würden die Insel sehr gern wieder besuchen, dann aber Ausschau nach einem anderem Feriendomiziel halten.
Owner's Response: die Ausstattung entspricht dem gebuchten kleinen Appartment. Wird mehr Komfort gewünscht, empfehlen wir unser Apparment mediano.
Wir verbürgen uns persönlich dafür, daß alle Appartments pingelig sauber sind. Der Kommentar des Gastes bezieht sich vermutlich auf eine Reinigung während des Aufenthaltes (in diesem Falle 1 Monat), die von uns gegen Aufpreis angeboten wird.
