Trulli, the round 'smurf houses' with jelly bag cap roofs, are located in a soft mountain and hill landscape in the d'Itria valley in the Apulia region. A holiday in a Trullo is romantic. You can let your soul go for a stroll or enjoy a glass of wine on warm summer nights on a terrace or under old olive trees. The pool is also used by other people staying in another Trulli. The Trullo Locorotondo has high-quality furnishings w/ eat-in kitchen, sleeper sofa, TV, open fireplace, bedroom, bathroom, large terrace with grilling area, pool and olive grove. Both for summer and winter. Parking space.

Locorotondo is located on a hill (410 m) and from Belvedere, a small park south of the Old Town, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Itria valley and Martina Franca. There are ancient vineyard terraces stretched across the city hills. There are many restaurants and pubs in Locorotondo. There are many restaurants, pubs and even a cinema in Locorotondo. From here you could easily make trips to Alberobello, Martina Franca and Ostuni. Nearby, you could visit Castel del Monte, the cities of Bari, Brindisi Taranto and Lecce, the Castellana grottos, the ceramic city of Grottaglie, the white city of Ostuni as well as the archaeological site of Egnatia and the numerous long sand beaches along the Adriatic coast. You can find many secluded coves here where you can swim in the pre- and post seasons. There are excellent fish restaurants in Monopoli or Polignano a Mare.

Wir waren im März im Trullo. Leider konnte man da noch nicht im Pool baden, wir waren sogar froh um die Heizung im Trullo. Die Lage ist gut, nur ein paar Kilometer von Locorotondo entfernt. Die Einrichtung auch schön, sehr sauber. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist gut, man wird nett empfangen. In der Küche könnte evtl. die Ausstattung ein bisschen besser sein (Wenig messer etc.). Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

Der perfekte Trullo

Ich habe bereits zum dritten Mal meinen Urlaub in diesem Trullo verbracht. Die Lage im Olivenhain ist traumhaft. Im Sommer und selbst an warmen Wintertagen kann man schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Der Trullo ist komfortabel eingerichtet mit schönen Möbeln. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Trulli auf dem Grundstück sind auch so weit voneinander entfernt, dass man sich weder sieht noch hört. Von Locorotondo aus kann man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen und ist auch schnell am Meer. Auf jeden Fall sollte man die Fornelli in Cisternino besuchen, Metzgereien mit einem kleinen Restaurant. Überhaupt haben uns die Tipps, die man bei der Buchung des Trullos erhält, sehr weitergeholfen. Es sind wirklich sehr gute Restaurants, die dort angegeben werden. Die Lage und Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Vermieter vor Ort sind ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Klasse ist auch die alte Dame im Lebensmittelladen, der gleich um´s Eck ist. Wer hier einkauft, erhält gleich das passende Rezept. Und den wöchentlichen Markt in Locorotondo sollte man auch nicht verpassen. Hier kann man wirklich einen wunderbar ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub verbringen.
