Wir wohnten zwei Woche im Appartement Pagio oberste Etage. Das Ferienhaus ist an sehr ruhiger Lage gelegen ideal um lange Wanderungen rund um Vinci und der Gegend zu machen. Die Menschen in und um Vinci sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Der Blick in die Toscana Ebene ist fantastisch. Das Appartement ist praktisch eingerichtet und super O.K. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Dame, die allerdings nur Italienisch und Schul-Englisch spricht aber man kann sich mit etwas gedult sehr gut verständigen. Die Fahrt von und nach Vinci ist für Flachländer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da sie einige Kilometer durch wunderschöne aber kurvenreiche enge Hänge entlang führt meist mit Olivenbäumen bewachsen. Von Vinci sind alle Orte wie Siena, Florenz, Lucca oder Pisa sowie Carrara gut erreichbar. Die nördliche Toscana ist immer wieder empfehlenswert. Also bis zum nächsten Urlaub.

Traumhafte Landschaft

Wir wohnten eine Woche im Appartement Fieno. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist sowohl tags als auch nachts überwältigend schön. Das Appartement ist sehr klein, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die "Küche" versteckt sich in einem Schrank. Wir haben aber durchaus Gerichte darin herstellen können. Alles ist sauber und die Vermieter sehr freundliche Damen, die allerdings nur sehr bruchstückhaft englisch sprechen.
Die Fahrt nach Vinci führt einige Kilometer durch wunderschöne Hänge, hauptsächlich bewachsen von Olivenbäumen, am Geburtshaus von Leonardo vorbei. Vinci selbst ist ein kleiner sehenswerter Ort. Von dort sind Florenz und Lucca gut erreichbar.
