Laura, the owner welcomes you to her romantic ancient country house of 1760. It has been carefully restored and furnished with antiques of the 19th century and lots of passion and style. The apartment for 4 - 5 persons in the house has a panoramic view over the Arno valley. Enjoy the charm and tranquillity of this place with the antique bath room and the garden. The hamlet Poggiolo is approx. 3 km away from the village Moncioni. There one can find a post office, an elegant restaurant as well as a 'bottega' (grocery store) and a bar. Thanks to the strategic position of Villa Salamandra right in the heart of Tuscany and in the triangle of Florence - Siena - Arezzo there are many possibilities for journeys. Also don't miss the opportunity to visit all the castles and wine farmers in the Chianti region. Furthermore the surrounding is perfect for wonderful walks, bike and horse back riding tours.
