Separate apartment with terrace on a Tuscan farm in the middle of olive and vineyard country, Montalbano ridge within walking distance. Self-catering is fun in the well-equipped kitchen with oven and open fireplace with direct access to the terrace. The stone grill in the garden is for guests. You can enjoy relaxing, unforgettable evenings with cricket chirping here. A salt-water pool (practically w/o chlorine) in the olive grove is great for cooling off in the summer. You can take long walks with or without the dog right from the house, mountain bike or hike on very well-marked trails in the Montalbano area with wonderful view of the Arno valley. The small medieval city of Vinci, birth place of the famous artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, is within walking distance. 2 museums present the works of the genius Leonardo, the basis of technology (helicopter, bicycle, diving bell etc) still valid today

Leonardo da Vinci was born in this small medieval town and thus two museums were named after the famous son of this city. You can see his ingenious works and inventions as models here. There is a Castello with a museum in it in the medieval Old Town centre. Restaurants, cafe, pubs and small shops can be found in this historical small town. Here you can take a relaxed stroll and enjoy a cappuccino in the sun. Leonardo's birth house is in Anchiano, somewhat outside of the small town. You can reach Strada Verde by walking along a beautiful panoramic path through olive groves. You can get there in just a few minutes by car, there is sufficient parking space. Entry and parking are free. Unfortunately, the famous and ingenious paintings by Leonardo are strewn across the globe in famous museums, like the 'Mona Lisa' in the Louvre in Paris. However, his models of technical inventions are still here to see

  • The above price of 395 Euro is for 2 people/week. 480 Euro/3-4 people, 540 Euro/5-6 people. Extra costs for electric, gas for cooking, bed linens and towels are included in the rental price. Final cleaning 30 Euro. 10 Euro/dog for final cleaning. 50 Euro/week per family for use of the salt-water pool (w/o chlorine). The pool is open depending upon weather from mid-May to the end of September/mid-October. A fee of 50 Euro/week is charged for use of the heating system and/or air conditioning.

Unser Urlaub war wunderbar. Die casa lucia liegt zentral für alle möglichen Ausflüge (Pisa, Florenz, Siena...). Abends dann aber auf der Terrasse oder am Pool im Olivengarten ist es Entspannung pur.
Besonders herzlich wurden wir von der vermieterin betreut (Essen, Tipps für Ausflüge).

-absolute Eignung um dem Alltagsstress zu entfliehen
-Familiär, sehr ruhig und erholsam
-für Urlauber ohne Auto mit "Fernlust" nicht so empfehlenswert
-für uns war es absolut toll
