Tranquillity and relaxation in the sunny south of Tenerife away from the usual tourism in this spacious, light and airy little house for 2 persons (extra children’s bed available), lovingly furnished with charm. There’s a stylish shower room, a fully equipped American kitchen with microwave/oven/grill. There’s also German TV, radio, DVD, CD, WLAN internet and use of washing machine. Pets by arrangement. Relax on the sunny terrace in your own palm garden with a good glass of wine and your own juicy grilled steak, enjoying this green oasis with orange, lemon and avocado trees. Our finca is romantically located in one of the last undiscovered typical towns in Tenerife and has a view of the sea and the wonderful mountains with lots of pathways. The beach is only 10 minutes away.

Arico is one of the last original towns in Tenerife, located centrally between the island’s capital Santa Cruz and the tourist centres of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. It takes approx. 20 minutes from the airport to get to us (by motorway). The nearest little supermarket for warm morning rolls and most other necessities is 500 m away. In Villa de Arico there’s a larger supermarket, 2 banks, a good, reasonably-priced country butcher and 5 restaurants/bars, for coffee or evening meals. You must visit the historic old town of Arico Nuevo with its lovely little streets and the gorgeous Tasca. Nearby there are romantic pathways through typical pine woods and the most famous climber’s gorge in the Canaries. One of the loveliest natural beaches is only 10 mins away by car and has a diving school, restaurants and a shop. El Medano surfing and kite paradise is 20 minutes away.

Ich hatte mich bewust für eine Privatunterkunft entschieden, ohne Vorturner. Die beiden Bewertungen machten mich neugirig.
Endergebnis meines leider viel zu kurzen Urlaubes:
Begrüsst wurde ich von meinen Vermietern.
Es folgten stressfreie erholsame schöne Tage - unverfälschtes Teneriffa.
Verabschiedet wurde ich von Bärbel und Achim.
Der Nachteil meiner positiven guten Bewertung - es wird immer schwieriger, kurzfristig einen freien Termin für den nächsten Urlaub zu bekommen.
Ich fahr so schnell wie möglich wieder hin.

Ich wollte erst keine Bewertung abgeben, da ich befürchte, diese Finca wird kein Geheimtip mehr sein. Eine kurzfristige Buchung wird wohl nicht mehr möglich sein.
Am Anreisetag wurde ich von den Vermietern begrüsst,
am Abreisetag wurde ich von Bärbel und Achim verabschiedet.
Dazwischen hatte ich Urlaub pur.
Ich suche jetzt schon denn nächsten Urlaubstermin, so gut hat es mir gefallen.

Kleine Oase mit klasse Lage & Vermietern

Die Bilder und Beschreibung im Internet machen ja schon neugierig und vor Ort ist man dann noch mehr begeistert von der liebevoll angelegten und gepflegten Finca. Man findet alles Notwendige (und mehr) im und um das romantisch eingebettete Ferienhaus - die Ausstattung & Sauberkeit ist hervorragend und wenn etwas fehlen sollten...einfach bei den Vermietern fragen.

Man kann von der Finca aus hervorragend die ganze Insel erkunden...allerdings sollte ein Mietwagen gebucht werden...aber bei den Benzinpreisen fährt man ja wirklich gerne Auto. Bei den Tagesausflugszielen ist bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei - egal ob Sport (Wandern, Radfahren, Tauchen, Surfen...) oder Kultur, Natur, Strand...ich habe mich in 10 Tagen nie gelangweilt und war jeden Tag auf Achse.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch die wirklich herzlichen und jederzeit hilfsbereiten Vermieter, die mir die sowieso schon tolle Zeit noch etwas mehr verschönert haben...ich hab mich vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Traumhafter Urlaub

Der Beschreibung können wir vollkommen zustimmen. Das Appartement liegt wunderschön und ruhig, gleich nach der Ankunft grüßt ein traumhafter Ausblick: links das Meer, rechts die Berge, dazwischen ein liebevoll angelegter Garten. Im Häuschen kann man gemütlich sitzen, ob am Tisch oder im Sessel; die Küche ist für zwei Personen völlig ausreichend.
Zum Supermarkt kann man laufen (dort gibt's auch ziemlich gute Frühstücksbrötchen), ansonsten ist man mit dem Auto schnell am Strand von Abades oder auch in den Bergen (hier kann man sogar mit entsprechender Ausrüstung klettern).
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und konnten uns gute Tipps geben, die uns Tenerife kulinarisch und auch kulturell nahe gebracht haben.
Wir kommen wieder!
