This quietly situated Provençal country house lies at 2 kms from Seillans, which belongs with its shady squares and cafés to the most beautiful villages of France. In the house you are relaxing under the Azur sky of the region and at night under the stars, which are clear and close because of the dry air. Not far from there are other medieval Provençal towns, such as Tourrettes, Fayence and Montauroux. Fayence has a famous gliding airport. The Mediterranean Sea and its cosmopolitan bathing resorts Cannes and Fréjus-St. Raphaël are only 35 kms away. The manor is built at an altitude of 400 meters and surrounded by a large enclosed garden with plenty of flowers (1600 sqm.), olive and fruit trees, grassy lawn, various terraces, a playground and a beautiful swimming pool (10 x 5 m) with a flat entry for children. At your disposal are ample garden furniture and a barbecue. The house offers you a magnificent view on green parks, forests and mountains.

This quietly situated Provençal manor lies at 2 kms from Seillans, which belongs with the medieval castle, its shady squares and cafés to the most beautiful villages of France. The house is built on hundreds of years old terraces ('restanques') of traditional agriculture, particularly olive trees and flowers for the perfume industry, now still centered at the neighbouring famous town Grasse. The oldest olive tree has an age of more than 400 years, according to expert´s statements. Not far are medieval towns such as Fayence, Tourettes, Montauroux and Bargemon. You find many trails for jogging and walking with any degree of challenge. The Mediterranean Sea of the Côte d´Azur and its cosmopolitan bathing resorts like Cannes and Fréjus-St. Raphaël are close, less than one hour by car. The famous 'Grand Canyon of Europe', the Gorges du Verdon, is only 45 km away.

  • The house is well equipped with 3 bathrooms with showers and 3 WC. The bathrooms are tiled as well as all the floors of the house, giving a pleasant temperature and facilitating an easy cleaning of the house. The inner walls are plastered in warm pastel colours. The pool area on the lower level of the two terrace system is enclosed by the natural wall and the house. That gives an individual atmosphere. You can reach the pool by a door of the lower part of the house or by stone stairs from the upper level. The area can be made safe by garden doors so that little children cannot step down by themselves. In addition a sensor system should give alarm. You find sun and shadow on each level, warm stones and cool lawn under the olive trees, as you like it. At night you have a lamp enlighting the water and several lamps in the garden giving a romantic environment. Or you leave all lamps and enjoy the stars in the sky, in a brillance which you don´t find in the Northern parts of Europe.

  • The massive construction of the house makes its interior cool also in the hot French summer, with a guarantee for good sleeping. From the kitchen you step out directly to the upper terrace with a summer kitchen ('cuisine d´été') makeing an open air work possible for the cook. A practical barbecue with its own chimney (demanded by law for barbecues in summer in the dry climate of the South) is close when you leave the terrace in front of the kitchen. Boule playground and a sandpit for children are on the upper level of the terrain. The lower level of the two terrace system is the pool level. A service building contains another shower and WC and also a workshop with cleaning and working tools. The washing machine and a second refrigerator is here. To train your fitness a hometrainer is available in that room with radio system. Here also the garden chairs and cushions are stored.

Satellite TV receives the ASTRA satellite programmes among those BBC world, CNN and Eurosport. French TV is represented by the four main channels. The hometrainer, the swimming pool and the boule playground make local sports possible. If you want to leave the terrain you immediately find jogging and walking trails, for any distance you like. The famous Terre Blanche golf course is 15 car minutes away. If you want to get higher you can join one of the gliding pilots getting a beautiful look on the mountains. In Seillans with 2000 people you find everything for the day: small shops and a supermarket, doctor, dentist, pharmacy (let us hope that yo do not need them), pub, tabac with international daily press. Within 15 car minutes you reach known big supermarkets and any shop you need, and of course the typical provençal markets.
