Even today you can observe small fishing boats and fishing vessels in the evening hours. Early in the morning the fishermen return to the port and unload their catch, now mainly exists from anchovies, tuna and swordfish. The fishing season and the olive harvest are in autumn. Marina di Camerota is a lively place even in off season and winter time and is suitable for hiking and sightseeing holidays or just to enjoy the warmer climate.
