The birthplace of the 19th century cleric and poet Miquel Costa i Llobera is in the middle of the beautiful Pollenca Old Town. There is a noble restaurant on the ground floor of this historic building. A few steps from its vestibule lead to our 100 m² maisonette apartment, which was tastefully restored with a lot of attention to detail during 2007/08. A huge and very bright living room with seating area next to the fireplace, satellite TV and dining area has access to an inner courtyard with plants, dining area, shower and sun beds. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen has a view of the inner courtyard. Also on the ground floor: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom w/shower, a guest WC. There is a stone staircase from the living room to the loft with a bedroom and an en suite bathroom with shower on the first floor. The entire designer apartment is minimalistic, rustic-elegant decorated and has air conditioning in all the room and double-paned windows. Quiet living in the middle of the village!

Our apartment is right in the middle of the historic Pollenca Old Town. The most beautiful spots in this well preserved small town in northern Majorca are within walking distance from here, to the famous Calvarias mountain with its 365 steps, to 'placa' with its noble parish church, to the many narrow lanes with their beautiful and sometimes stately houses and inner courtyards, to the innumerable restaurants and pubs of every shade and to the many shops. The small resort Cala Sant Vicenc or the beautiful harbour town of Port de Pollenca is about 7 mins by rental car or bus from Pollenca. Cala Sant Vicenc has wonderful sand coves. Pollenca's 9-hole golf course is the same distance away and the Aucanada by Alcúdia 18-hole golf course with its wonderful ocean view from almost every green is about 15 min. Pollenca is a perfect starting point for hiking into the Tramuntana mountains. During the summer, there is an international music festival in the monastery yard.
