About Montenegro:
Montenegro is located about two flight hours from Germany, at the same latitude as Mallorca. The Balkan state with about 622,000 inhabitants and an area of 13,812 km ² is one of the smaller states of Europe. The mountain region is only sparsely inhabited. The capital is Podgorica. There are two international airports, 'Podgorica' airport and 'Tivat' airport.
The only native of Montenegro airline is Montenegro Airlines, which heads for the 'Frankfurt' airport and sometimes also for the 'Düsseldorf' airport several times a week (daily during peak season). By land you can reach Montenegro either by crossing Austria, Slovenia and Croatia or via Italy by ferry from 'Bari' to 'Bar'.

Currency / Climate :
In 1999 then German mark was introduced as the currency. In the course of the European currency changeover, the euro has been used since 2002 as the national currency.
Cash supply (ATMs) is given in all cities. Credit cards (Master-/Visacard) are also accepted at gas stations, supermarkets, etc.
The climate in Montenegro is Mediterranean and mild, subtropical vegetation. During summer Mediterranean temperatures are reached on the Adriatic coast. On the coast winter is mild and without snowfall, whereas summer is dry and warm. Autumn is usually very mild and spring often starts very early. In the hinterland of Montenegro a more continental climate can be found.
Because of the mild climate the apartment can be booked year-round. Especially the months of May/June and September/October qualify perfectly for quiet and relaxing holidays with enjoyable water and air temperatures. You want to experience something special? Take a trip to one of the national parks of Montenegro, e.g. to the 'Biogradska Gora', one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe. Or how about a yacht trip to the 'Beach of the Queen'? One of the prettiest beaches of Montenegro which can only be reached by boat. We will take you there!
