Just outside the ancient walls of Kotor town there is a daily bustling market resembling something from yesteryear with individual stalls selling local organics such as home made cheeses, cured hams, honey, fish, oils & mediterranean vegetables of every colour, shape & size & all with a refreshing lack of standardisation. Eating out in Montenegro is inexpensive with restaurants offering excellent local fish & meat dishes and has a mainly Italian influenced cuisine. Local wines are good and priced at approx. 3/4 euros per litre. There are two excellent bar/restaurants within 4 mins walk at the waters edge & a nice stroll further along the waterfront will take to a few others among them a great fish restaurant (see guest comment about it). Main courses around Prcanj area start at approx €8.
Booking Notes:
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking. The balance is payable no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment is accepted in UK pounds/euros. Refundable breakage/damage deposit of 150 euro payable on arrival along with the Montenegrin Tourist Tax (see below) Welcome pack can be arranged if required.
All tourists entering Montenegro are required to pay Tourist Tax which is charged at.80 cent per adult &.40 cent for persons aged 12- 18 per night. Children under 12 free.
