Son Serra de Marina belongs to the region of Santa Margalida and is a peaceful and contemplative city with just under 1000 residents. Even during the peak season, almost only Spaniards and residents live here. The city consists of only single family homes, there are no hotels or discos here. But there is a stunning beach. If you drive on the main street from the city entrance through to the sea, then on the left side you will find a small harbour with a little more than 100 loungers. This is where you will initially find cliffs mixed with beaches that go on nearly to the end of the city. Other than a small store, a bakery, a pharmacy and multiple good restaurants you will find nothing more than relaxation and sea in Son Serra de Marina. Those who would like to go out during the evening can drive to Can Picafort, about 8 km away.
