Pure relaxation, far from mass tourism and still very centrally located near Sintra/Lisbon on the Atlantic - near the beach. An idyllic Portuguese village in the heart of Fontanelas. On foot you can comfortable reach quite a bit, for example the bakery, mom and pop shops, butcher, pharmacy, cafes, barber, etc. The holiday home is very well equipped with a complete built-in kitchen with a stove and oven, fridge with freezer, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The region does not only offer beautiful beaches, but rather also a lot of culture and attractions. Famous regions nearby, for example, Cascais, Esotril, Lisbon, Sintra (Praia Grande, Praia das Macas, Colares, Azenhas do Mar) and Ericiera and Mafra are also not far away.

Lisbon is about 30 km from our holiday home. Sintra with many castles and museums and the mountains about 13 km. Famous beaches like Praia Grande, Praia das Macas and Azenhas do Mar can be reached in a few minutes by car. The most western point of Europe - Cabo da Roca - is also not far away, just like Praia do Guincho (famous for surfing), Cascais and Estoril can also be easily reached. The north-western side of the coast, like Ericeira, is also very popular for surfing and Mafra with a world famous monastery and palace (Convento).
