Villa Jose Carlos is a 120 m² newly built villa in romantic, Moroccan style. This unique villa has its own pool, a fantastic view and lots of comfort. Jose Carlos faces south west, so everything here is bright and friendly. The villa is above the little town of Solano, which has retained its original Andalusian charm and where you can explore the Andalusian landscape and environment in old Moorish walkways. The pool is surrounded by loungers, tables, a BBQ, lots of sunshine and a covered area for a shady siesta. Features of the building emphasise the Andalusian history of the area: the stone walls, airy, high ceilings and local tiled floors. Central heating and tiled stove will enhance your stay in winter. The nearest large town is Colmenar, 7km away. There you’ll find tapas bars, banks, a pharmacist & supermarkets.

Solano is approx. 7km south of the town of Colmenar. It has tapas bars, banks, a pharmacy and supermarkets. Pathways around villa Jose Carlos lead you into typical Andalusian scenery. The Moorish town of Granada with the Alhambra is approx.120 km away. Even Cordoba and Ronda are easy to get to. Malaga and the Picasso Museum and historic old town, or 'El Torcal' nature park with remarkable rocks or days at the seaside at the coastal town of Nerja are fantastic day trips to get to know the varied cultural life of Andalusia. Or maybe you prefer a good book and a glass of wine under the olive tree on the terrace and a view of the breathtaking mountain landscape all around Villa Jose Carlos.

Ein Traum in Andalusien

Die Villa Jose Carlos bietet jeglichen Komfort, den man sich für einen erholsamen und schönen Andalusien-Urlaub nur wünschen kann! Sie liegt sehr ruhig, oberhalb eines Berges mit traumhaften Rundum-Blick in die herrliche Natur Andalusiens und ist noch dazu sehr geschmackvoll im landestypischen Stil mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Direkt vom Haus aus sind tolle Wanderungen und Spaziergänge ein Muss. Ohne Auto geht es allerdings nicht, die nächste Einkaufsgelegenheit ist ca. 7 km entfernt, ebenso einige sehr nette Restaurants. Tagesausflüge nach Granada zur Alhambra, Ronda oder Malaga sind absolut lohnenswert, und sehr gut zu erreichen. Für einen Tag am Strand muss man etwa 30 Min. Fahrzeit einplanen. Aber eigentlich wollte man gar nicht weg fahren, es war vor Ort einfach so schön, vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt!
Mein Fazit: Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder! Es ist wirklich ein Traum fernab vom Touri-Rummel. Der Kamin macht den Aufenthalt im Winter sehr gemütlich. Und das Haus war in einem Top Zustand und sehr sauber.

Ruhe, Entspannung ... wunderbar!

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind einfach herrlich. Man kommt in ein wohnlich und im andalusischen Stil eingerichtetes Haus und der Blick über die umliegenden Berge raubt einem schlicht den Atem. Wir waren im Winter da (Anfang November) und haben den Pool nicht benutzt. Dafür haben wir den Kamin sehr zu schätzen gelernt. Es war wohl für diese Jahreszeit relativ kühl, für uns Norddeutsche war es schön warm. Die Terrasse ist groß und alles ist wirklich tip-top, sauber und exzellent organisiert. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung (Hinterland, Küste, usw.) sollte man sich einen Mietwagen nehmen. Schöne Wanderungen sind sofort ab dem Haus möglich (festes Schuhwerk mitnehmen!). Abends kann man in Colmenar sehr nett essen gehen oder Seafood an der Küste (ca. 30 Minuten Fahrt) geniessen. Fazit: Wir kommen unbedingt wieder. Für unsere 4-köpfige Familie (2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten) ein idealer Urlaub. Nach dem 3. Anlauf haben wir unser Traumdomizil in Andalusien gefunden!
