The mansion “Serra Destri” is a real rural oasis situated in the unique landscape of Tuscany. Indeed, this mansion is located in an absolutely quiet area and completely unaffected by mass tourism. Even so, it only takes 20 minutes by car to the seaside. All nearby beaches got certification of the blue flag “Legambiente” guaranteeing clean water and proper, wonderful beaches. A vast part of the very extensive beaches has been separated even as a preserved park that is surrounded by dense pine woods. The mansion offers two three-rooms apartments (for 3 to 6 persons), one two-rooms apartment (for 2 to 5 persons and one single room (from 1 to 3 persons) that is not connected to any of the apartments. The apartments are on a large scale and their rooms are spacious and light. All apartments have direct access to the garden. “Serra Destri” is owned and managed by an Italian-Swiss couple. Once a week, homemade pizza is served. Sale of olive oil from own production on biological basis.

The estate is surrounded with spacious gardens, pergolas and romantic places for relax. It has spectacular views on the typically hilly landscape of Tuscany with its olive groves, cypresses. The climate here is less humid than on the seaside. In the neighbourhood there are idyllic villages with good, rustical food and wines. Hikers, bikers and riders find their ideal environment, likewise the nature lover, the family yearning for sun, and the fans of the water sports. The beaches of Cecina and Bibbona with their shady pine forests are only a few kilometers away. Tuscany's famous art-cities are all within easy reach.

Olive oil: We sell our biological extravergin olive oil for a good price. Serra Destri belongs to the Sorbugnano hills. They have always been considered one of the best places for olive trees in the region: clay soil, calcareous water and sunny slopes, where the climate is less humid than in the plane or on the seaside. Our 300 trees are cultivated with the biological method. The olives are picked manually, selected and pressed cold ( 27°) the day after. One of the most important indications for a high quality extravergin oil is it's low content of acids. Our oil doesn't overpass the value of 0.3 g/100 g, while the official rate is 0.8 g/100 g.

Hochzeitstag in der Toskana in Serra Destri

Nach einem zweitägigen Schlenker über Qinque Terre kamen wir in der Toskana auf dem Landgut Sierra Destri an und erlebten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang durch Elisabetha und Guiseppe, die Besitzer. Das Ferienstudio erwies sich als grosszügig eingerichtet und sehr schön sauber und einladend. Ein gut gestimmtes Klavier lud zum Musizieren ein. Am Tage lockte ein sauberer und gepflegter Swimming Pool zu einer Erfrischung, 21°C, die Liegestühle zum Verweilen, Lesen und einfach geniessen. Das Ganze wurde durch die ständig vorhandene schöne Aussicht von dem hochgelegenen Anwesen in die toskanische Landschaft abgerundet. Das Baden im Meer ist zwar stets mit einer kleinen Autofahrt (ca. 15 Minuten) verbunden, was aber durch die verschiedenen Angebote an Strandorten belohnt wird. Die freiwillige Mithilfe bei der Pflege der Olivenbäume erlaubte auch eine gewisse Portion an Körperertüchtigung und das Hineindenken in die Kunst des Olivenanbaus. Die herzliche und familiäre Atmosphäre wird uns im nächsten Jahr gewiss wieder nach Serra Destri führen.

Eine Oase der Ruhe

Ein traumhafter Urlaub in einem traumhaften Feriendomizil mit ebensolchem Ausblick in die wunderschöne Landschaft der Toskana.Die ruhige Lage mitten in den Hügeln ist eine Oase der Ruhe!!!
Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und äußert geschmackvoll sowie liebevoll gestaltet.
Das Selbe trifft auf die äußerst sauberen und großzügigen Ferienwohnungen zu - es fehlt an nichts !!!
Das zuvorkommende und herzliche Besitzerehepaar ist immer zur Stelle für evtl. Fragen, Tipps etc oder einen netten Plausch, trotzdem aber sehr diskret. Es herrscht eine absolut familiäre Atmosphäre.
Besonders hervorzuheben sind außerdem die wöchentlich stattfindenden Pizza-Abende, sowie das hervorragende Bio-Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung.
Wir durften bereit 2 x unseren Urlaub dort genießen und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!!!

Wunderbar gelegenes Feriendomizil. Ideal um Badeurlaub und Kulturtrips zu verbinden.
Super-Nette Gastgeber die immer hilfsbereit sind und einen richtig verwöhnen-besondere stimmungsvolle Abende beim Pizzaessen.
Sauberes und liebevoll gepflegtes Anwesen das man immer weiter empfehlen kann.

Perfekte Erholung in familiärer Atmosphäre

Die Lage des Hauses hat alle unsere Wünsche mehr als erfüllt: Selbst an sehr heißen Tagen weht eine sanfte Brise vom Meer. Wir haben es sehr genossen, von unserer Pergola aus über das grüne Tal, die Olivenhaine und das Meer zu blicken - und dort zu frühstücken oder Abend zu essen. Und das bei absoluter Ruhe - weil es an der einsamen Schotterstraße so gut wie keinen Verkehr gibt.
Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in der Küche fehlt es an nichts - außer vielleicht an einer Spülmaschine ;-)
Die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen, beispielsweise wurden wir bei der Ankunft auch mitten in der Nacht herzlich empfangen - sogar mit allem, was man für ein 1. Frühstück braucht im Kühlschrank.
Ein besonderes Highlight war der von den Besitzern veranstaltete Pizza-Abend mit selbst gemachter Pizza aus dem Ofen im Garten.
Insgesamt herrscht dort eine sehr lockere, entspannte Atmosphäre - es gibt genug Platz am gepflegten Pool - aber auch versteckte, ruhige Eckchen mit Hängematte und Liege in dem großen Garten. Sicher nicht unser letzter Urlaub in Serra Destri!!!
