Meine Empfehlung:
Die Angaben auf fewo-direkt.de waren korrekt und vollständig.
Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig (Betten für 4), sauber und gut ausgestattet: Gasherd, E-Backofen, Kühlschrank + Eisfach, Radio u. TV (nur ital.), Fliegengitter, Grill für draußen, Wäscheleine, große Terrasse, Schattenparkplatz.
Der Garten - ein Traum: Zitronen, Orangen, Weinbeeren, Birnen, Feigen, Bananen, Peperoni, Rosmarin, Basilikum, Fenchel. Man darf alles essen. Der Vermieter: ein sehr netter Mann, sehr hilfsbereit (bei Bedarf: Er wohnt nur 500 Meter entfernt), bringt auch eigenes Gemüse vorbei. Er spricht außer Italienisch auch Berndütsch. Zur Verständigung reicht's.
Die Lage: recht ruhig, Straße und Bahnlinie stören kaum. Keine Feriensiedlung, man hat sein eigenes Reich.
Zum "Hausstrand" (Sand) ca. 1,5 km, mit Auto angenehmer als zu Fuß erreichbar. Weitere Strände (Kies) weiter im Süden, sehr sauber.
Pizzeria, Supermarkt u.a. wenige Gehminuten entfernt, samstags Wochenmarkt.
Attraktionen in der Nähe: Nachbarort Taormina, der Ätna (Bus-/Jeep-Touren mehrerer Anbieter), Alcantara-Schlucht, recht kurze Autotouren nach Catania, Messina; weiter weg und zu empfehlen: Siracusa, Äolische Inseln, Enna.
Mietpreis ok (wenn nicht Juli/August), v.a. bekommt das Geld ein Sizilianer und kein Reisebüro.
