Costa Calma is one oft the most interesting spots in the south of Fuerteventura, situated at the smallest point of the island, only 6 km distance to the west-coast with its tremendous cliff line. In Costa Calma begins a marvellous, white sandy beach of 25 km to the south. Not only every fan of windsurfing, kite-surfing, surfing, diving and so on is very much pleased, but even any other who likes to walk on the beach or to lay in the smooth, white sand, suffering the sun, the beach and the sea will be very pleased of this area. And there no fighting about the best place at the beach: you will easily find a place, where your next neighbour is more than 20 m away. It´s Costa Calma: a calm beach. You will find an animated place, but if you are looking for party, night-life and embraces this is not your spot! The ones, who prefer a more calm but not boring place, will be very satisfied in Costa Calma. Families with children find a fantastic spot to enjoy the sea and sandy beach.
What is provided in Cosat Calma?:
There are many supermarkets, open all day, even on Sunday, from 08.30 to 21.00 . You will find many restaurants, offering typical 'German', 'international' and of course typical Spanish Tapas. You also will find many cafés and bars for a coffee or a long-drink. Beside a petrol-station, 4 different bank-offices, many cash points there is a really good performed medical supply. Beside 3 medical-centers there is a ged of female doctor, who is offering, together with her partner, a 24-hours-supply for the smallest and the eldest patients. All this you can reach in 15 minutes walking or less. The are buses, travelling around Costa Calma, so you can reach any point here by bus and of course you can get a - cheap - taxi. Or hire a car at one of several stations.

If you don’t like fog, rain, coldness, snow and all these - mostly - ugly things of autumn and winter you will find in Costa Calma your favourite place to escape. It is possible to swim in the blue sea from September until the end of March just in a short or a bikini! To stay here in these months you need shorts and T-Shirt but no winter-coat. But there is one problem: many others know this situation and therefore they reserve 'their' house or apartment many months in front for the next season. So if you want to stay here in Costa Calma, you should reserve your 'winter-accommodation' as soon as possible.
