The holiday village IL Borgo lies below the village, in the direction of the sea and occupies a 13ha. park filled with pines and olive trees. It is approx. 3km to Guardistallo, 5km to Cecina Town and 8km to Cecina Mare and the beach. The holiday village caters well for children and has a large swimming pool (20 x 10m) with children’s area, sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols, public telephone, reception, pizzeria-restaurant, snack-bar, mini-market (from end of May to Sept., Italian fruit and vegetable according to season; bread, milk, wine, oil), a coin-operated washing machine, a lovely childrens play area, a boccia alley, table-tennis, volleyball court, mountain-bike hire, fitness-path.

Guardistallo is a wonderful mountain village and lies around 10 km west of Cecina in the gentle tuscan hills surrounded by cornfields, sunflowers fields, vineyards and olive groves. From the edge of the village one can enjoy fantastic views across the surrounding countryside and to the sea. In the romantic centre there are restaurants, pizzerias and several shops and boutiques. In summer the village has its own culutral programme with theatre and concerts as well as traditional village festivals.
