Outside-Area:
From the living room, you can go out onto the terrace which looks out over the sea. There is a table with six chairs. We’ve already described the views from the terrace to La Caleta bay, and you’ll probably want to spend most of your day there, from breakfast to dinner, enjoying the sea-view. On that terrace, there are four sun loungers, a parasol, and a brick charcoal grill. At the front of the house, there is also a small area in which to sit out, beside a small strip of garden. This spot gets the first rays of the morning sunshine. There is another more secluded terrace on the roof of the house, with four sun loungers, which would be perfect for nude sunbathing.
Equipement:
Valuables can be deposited in a small safe. You can also connect your laptop to the internet via a broadband connection. Guests receive a welcome basket on arrival with fresh fruit and drinks. Although the “Rita Melania” house is a non-smoking house, smoking is permitted outside on the terraces and in the garden.
Location:
There are small fishing boats in the picturesque bay and on the right-hand-side you’ll get a glimpse of the fish restaurants that are favourites of those in-the-know, such as the Restaurant Piscis. If you fancy an evening stroll, or stopping for a glass of wine, you can leave the car behind, because everything is within walking distance. A car is not absolutely necessary as the bus stop is only 100 m away, and Tenerife can also be explored by bus.
