On the cliffs, directly above the beach of Albufeira is where you will find the "Casinha do Mar", the "sea house". It is a former fisher's house. Small, full of charm and with an indescribable view of the Atlantic. The roof terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs is a stunning space to sunbathe and eat breakfast. During cosy summer nights, you can have a view from here of the glimmering lights of countless fishing boats on the sea under the amazing starry sky. From the hallway it leads into the living room with an integrated kitchenette. If you look out the window, you can enjoy a view of the sea. This living-dining room is connected through a hallway with the bedroom (double bed). A small, steep stair case leads to the roof terrace. Small shower bath, neither telephone nor television. Shopping facilities are nearby. The beach is ideal for children. During the spring, fall and winter empty beaches invite you to go on walks. For a max. of 2 adults / one child.

Albufeira is a former fishing village that has become a popular holiday destination. During the spring, fall and winter empty beaches invite you to sunbathe and go on walks. The sea and the fine beach are also ideal for small children. During the summer, the city is well visited. Sun is guaranteed. A lot of young people from all over the world meet on the beach and celebrate in the discos. You can relax wonderfully in the "sea house", which is located in a row with other old houses on a pedestrian street directly above the beach. It is possible to rent a car from the airport or in Albufeira and to go on excursions to the back country, to the most south west point of Europe, the Cabo Sao Vincente, to the forests of Monchique, to Tavira or also to Lisbon or Seville. There are good and inexpensive train connections to Lisbon. A visit to the "Zoo marine" is good for children where you can find dolphins and other animals.

sehr schönes häusschen mitten in der altstadt

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage in der Alstadt von Albufeira, weit weg vom "Tourismusdorf", nur 2 Hotels in unmittelbarer NäheTrotz der sehr zentralen Lage absolut leise.Der Strand ist toll, sauber sanft abfallen ins Meer.Auch ohne Auto (oder mit Bus)kann man einiges sehen.ZB Praia Sao Rafael (bus und auto 10 min)zu Fuß 1 Stunde, aber sehr schön!Mit dem Bus nach Faro ca 45 Min und auch sehr schön.
Gegenüber des "7 Days" , Strasse, neben Cafe , entlang gibts eienen Fischhändler, der tgl frischen Fisch hat.Traumhaft!Bei Modelo (großer Supermarkt)gibts auch guten Fisch und gutes Brot!

Ein Traumurlaub

Wir waren Mitte Juli für eine Woche in dem kleinen Ferienhäuschen und haben uns dort von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Leider werden die Fotos der Wohnung nicht gerecht, denn der Clou ist die Sonnenterrasse, von der aus man den kompletten Strand einsehen kann. Das kleine Fischerdörfchen Albufeira, in dessen Altstadt die Unterkunft liegt, bietet viel Abwechslung. Mna ist in zwei Minuten bei zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars, der Starnd ist in unmittelbarer Umgebung und sollte einem doch langweilig wredn, so kann man eine Schifstour buchen, um die Grotten an der Algare zu besichtigen. Alles in allem war dies ein sehr gelungener Uralub. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen!

Wohnung mit Ausblick!

Das kleine "casinha do mar" hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es ist sehr sauber gewesen, einfach, aber hübsch eingerichtet und in einer spektakulären Lage, direkt auf den Klippen über dem Strand gelegen, mit einem Blick über die gesamte Meeresbucht!
Abends mit dem Wellenrauschen einzuschlafen und morgens damit aufzuwachen war wunderbar!

Die Terasse ist ein guter Rückzugspunkt gewesen, wenn man mal allein sein und trotzdem Sonne tanken möchte, ideal auch für romantische Abendessen mit Blick zum Sternenhimmel und auf die Lichter der Fischerboote am Horizont!
Das Haus liegt ruhig gelegen in der Altstadt, direkt 2 Häuser weiter gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und auch ein Restaurant mit frischem gegrillten Fisch, was fast demselben Blick auf's Meer wie von der Ferienwohnung aus bietet.
Das Meer ist sauber gewesen, die Leute freundlich.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
