Both holiday homes are restored and lovely furnished and are located near the village of Mergo (the Ancona province) on a seven hectare property. An olive grove with 650 olive trees, fruit trees, forest and meadows form a harmonic unit. Choose between the natural stone houses Casa Ginestra and Casa Olivi, which can be separated into two apartments. Even if all houses have preserved their original character with ceiling beams, terracotta floors and antique furniture, they all have modern comfort (heated flooring, SAT-TV, dishwasher). Both holiday homes are 200 m from each other. During the summer, the swimming pool is open to the guests from both houses. The Casa Ginestra consists of two well-lit bedrooms, two modern bathrooms with a bidet, a cosy living room and a well-equipped kitchen. Through the window doors of the living room and the kitchen you can go onto the terrace where an unforgettable panorama awaits you.

The house Casa Olivi offers apartments on two levels that can be rented separately or together. During the summer, the swimming pool offers fun. The upper apartment of the Casa Olivi (75 m2) consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen (with a dishwasher) and living room together, has heating and SAT-TV. The antique furniture gives the ambiance an inviting hint with natural stone walls and ceiling beams. Around the house you will find a variety of a sophisticated spaces. In addition to the olive trees, there are other fruit trees like fig trees, apples and plums. Large laurel trees and elms give you shade during the summer. Moreover, Casa Olivi has a guest house with an extra bathroom with a shower. A pizza oven is attached for sociable evenings. The house also has the traditional Cantina with a small selection of regional wines and olive oil produced by us with the highest level of quality.

In Mergo you can go to the restaurant or make your own shopping. From here you can discover the enchanting nature, the rich culture, the hospitable people. Sea (30 minutes) and mountains can be reached quickly: fine sand beaches and steep coasts with bays with crystal-clear water along within the chain of the Apennines. The medieval cities of the Marches are an outdoor museum that you can discover on a walk. Excrusions to Urbino, Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio or Jesi can be done. For nature lovers, you can go hiking from the property towards the regional park where you can discover the famous caves of Frasassi. As a racing cyclist or mountain biker you can create your own routes. Horse riding, kayak or paragliding ...there are no limits for those who are active. The region offers a rich cuisine with fine wines. A small selection can be found in the wine cellar like our biological olive oil.

Wir 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder haben im August 2009 für 3 Wochen das Casa Olivi gebucht.

Vom ersten Tag an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist optimal ausgestattet, neuwertig, sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Der Vermieter stand für Fragen und Tipps jederzeit gerne zur Verfügung und schon vor der Ankunft wurden wir mit wichtigen und wertvollen Informationen versorgt.

Der Blick über den Olivenhain, auf die Berge und in die Ferne läd zum abschalten und beobachten ein.
Möglichkeiten zum radfahren und joggen sind optimal vorhanden und der Swimmingpool bietet eine perfekte Abkühlung.

Viele interessante Bergdörfer mit unzähligen kulinarischen Angeboten lassen für dolce vita keinen Wunsch offen. In Moie oder Jesi kann man auch in größeren Supermärkten sehr gut einkaufen und bei den Weinbauern bekommt man den typischen offenen Weis bzw. Rotwein. Unser Vermieter versorgte uns mit seinem eigenen Olivienoel und feuerte mit uns den Pizzaofen an, wo wir uns als Pizzabäcker versuchen konnten.

Casa Olivi - für uns ein italienischer Traum den wir gerne einmal wieder träumen würden.

WIr waren zum ersten Mal in den Marken und haben dort eine kostengünstige Alternative zu üblichen Toskana/Umbrien-Urlauben gefunden. Von der Casa d'Olivi hat man einen herrlichen Rundblick und das setzt sich auf Spaziergängen und Ausflügen fort. Die Lage zwischen Appennin und Meer (weniger als 40km entfernt) inmitten ursprünglicher Dörfer und netter Kleinstädte (z.B. Jesi, Urbania, Ascoli) ist wirklich einmalig. Weißwein statt Rotwein, köstliches Olivenöl direkt vom Erzeuger, z.B. den netten Vermietern, die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Wohnung, Ausstattung - alles prima. Hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal.

Unsere Erwartungen bezüglich Lage und Ausstattung wurden übertroffen. Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen und die Aussicht auf die Hügel und Berge fantastisch.Die Ausstattung sehr geschmackvoll und zum Stil des Hauses passend.Der Zustand entsprach unseren Erwartungen.
Die Betreuung des Vermieters ist besonders hervorzuheben. Er steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und hilft auch bei größeren Problemen (z.B. Krankheit) Seine Tipps bezüglich Attraktionen, Kultur, Essen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw. sind sehr wertvoll und nützlich. Wir haben dieses Feriendomizil bereits weiterempfohlen. Unbdedingt zu besuchen ist di Grotta di Frassasi (riesengroße Tropfsteinhöhle) oder eine Wanderung zum benachbarten Monte Murano.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
