This apartment is situated in the hinterland of Cecina, near Casale, on a farm away from traffic and tourism. It is very lovely and comfortably furnished with fireplace and sofa bed in the living room. It has a lot of space and a big garden from where you can see beautiful sunsets on the sea. From the terrace you have a wonderful view up to Volterra or the sea, with the islands' Capraia, Elba and Gorgona. In 15 min. you are on the beach and in a good hour in the surrounding big cities such as Florence, Siena and Pisa. The area is very nice for swimming, hiking and biking.

Casale is a small Tuscan village on a hill in the Val di Cecina, with its typical narrow streets of cobblestone, for romantics, bon vivant and all those who want to relax. Cecina is the nearest city with all sorts of attractions such as shopping malls, market, animal and water park. Especially Cecina Mare is known for its miles of huge pine beach. This is a sandy beach with a pine forest behind it, with small paths to picnic, walk, horseback riding, hiking and biking. On the whole Etruscan coast from Vada until San Vincenzo there are several beautiful sandy beaches, including those which are very well suited for children, because the water is only knee- or hip-deep. In 40 km you are in Piombino, from there you can take the ferry to the island of Elba, popular with snorkellers and nature lovers. All in all, a very attractive area which offers for Everyman / woman something.
