Our apartments offer accommodation for one, two, four or up to 8 people who are holidaying together but who also wish for some privacy. Each apartment has: one bedroom with twin beds; a spacious and beautifully appointed shower-room; a fully equipped kitchen area; lounge with a sofabed, and a large balcony which catches the sun all afternoon. They are located at Sol Andalusi, which offers superb services matching a superior hotel. There is a bar, restaurant, spa, gym, tennis, yoga, indoor and outdoor pool, cinema, theatre, small supermarket and maid service. Transport, excursions and car hire are organised for you and there is a bus. There are 4 golf courses nearby. The setting is rural but it is well located for easy access to the beach, the town of Malaga, the airport and the local town of Alhaurin de la Torre. The complex is very suitable for wheel-chair users and elderly. It is gated with 24 hour security.

Our two apartments are next door to one another so they are ideal for those who wish to holiday together but also maintain some space, privacy and independence. Each apartment has a twin bedded room: one apartment has a sofa bed which can sleep 2 and the other apartment has a single 'Z' bed. So the two apartments rented together might suit two, three, or four individuals or up to 7 using the sofa bed and Z bed. From the large balconies which catch the afternoon sun, there are beautiful views of the mountain ranges of Mijas and Guadalhorce. Although the kitchens are fully equipped for all your catering and laundry needs, there is a very reasonably priced restaurant, cafe and bar on site. You can mix and match ´catered´ and ´self-catered´ according to your mood or appetite! There are also many restaurants in the local town to suit different tastes and budgets. Prices are considerably lower than on the coast.

Sol Andalusi sits peacefully in the foothills, just outside the small, busy town of Alhaurin de la Torre. It's well situated for driving to the coast and inland destinations such as Granada, with its magnificent Alhambra and gardens; the old hillside village of Mijas, famous for its spectacular views of the coast; Ronda with its medieval bridge spanning a 500 ft gorge and much more. Seville can be reached within two hours by car or train. The local town is a few mins drive and provides bars, restaurants (which welcome small children) and cafes; tennis; open market and shopping. Malaga, often overlooked by visitors, is close and has much to offer including: the new Picasso museum, the cathedral and the Alcazaba. Aquapark, a water amusement park; Seaworld, Crocodile Park and Plaza Mayor with cafes, shops and cinema showing English films, and an 18 hole golf course are all within short driving distance. Transport is provided by Sol Andalusi to the coast and Malaga.

Notes: Each of our apartments has its own private balcony with table and chairs for four and two sun beds. The gardens, terraces, children’s play area, parking, outdoor and heated indoor pool are all communal. Likewise the fitness centre with superior gym, tennis, yoga, Jacuzzi and sauna and daily maid service are available as part of the complex and an extra charge is made for their use. There is a newly built spa with a range of health and beauty treatments- Each apartment has limited satellite channels and a connection for Sky TV. We booked the apartment after finding a very cheap flight to Malaga. The facilities in the apartment were first class. With everything we needed to hand, the balcony is spacious and allowed us to eat outside in the evening. The complex was quite whilst we were there, although there were a few functions on which did not affect our enjoyment in any way.
We would advise a vehicle as the village is about 2kms away. We explored the surrounding countryside and found the apartment a good base to allow us to get out and about and away from the coastal motorway. We are sports enthusiasts and the complex catered well for our needs.

The Sol Andalusi is one of those rare places where you can combine a peaceful and relaxing holiday with children. The complex is tranquil, set in beautiful surroundings and the staff work hard to make your stay an enjoyable one. The apartment is well equipped, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the balcony affords glorious views of the mountains. The hotel restaurant, although a little expensive, served wonderful cuisine, well worth a visit. Alternatively the bar serves cheap and tasty tapas and snacks.
The attractive pool area combined a quiet and relaxing place for us to sunbathe with a safe place for the children to have fun in the pool. A lifeguard is in attendance at all times.
The complex is a little isolated but a taxi into town cost only 8 euros.
We had a very relaxing holiday and would return to Sol Andalusi and this apartment.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sol Andalusi resort. We were a little concerned when we booked because the resort seemed to infer it was accomodation for the retired in fact this was far from accurate. Overall the resort really sells itself short there is plenty to do for all. We went with our two boys 19 and 16 had excellent time working out in the gym, playing tennis and generally relaxing around the swimming pool if not playing table tennis or pool.The staff are very courteous and the accomodation is of high quality spotless well deserving of it rating. You will need a car to get about as it is a 40 min drive to the coastline. This did us fine as you are a comfortable distance from the hussle and bustle of the louder areas in Costa Del Sol. We drove to Fuengirola a few times to eat out at a restaurant called Wok,although there are plenty of local restaurants and takeaways if required.Supermarkets Aldi and Supersol are only 15 mins away in the car. Enjoy !!

Wir waren im Mai 2009 im Sol Andalusi (Junge Familie mit
einen Kleinkind) und wir waren super-zufrieden mit allem!
Der POOL hat unsere Tochter natürlich sehr gefallen, uns hat es gefallen, das alles so ordentlich und neu ist! Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht, die Lage ist perfekt!

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und möchten uns dafür ganz herzlich bei Miyuki bedanken!!
