Swimming pool between olive groves and macchia:
You can use our private pool. It is located about 300 m away, on our property, where we also live (during the summer), in an absolutely peaceful and private location on a 10,000 m2 property.
Surroundings:
The stretch of land by Chia on the southern corner of Sardinia is known for its stunning beaches with white dunes and saltwater lagoons. With some luck, you can here observe flamingos. The small village of Chia, which belongs to the city of Domus de Maria (about 1500 residents), is made primarily of holiday homes and hotels used during the summer. 2 grocery stores, a bar and a few restaurants and pizzerias nearby. We recommend the 'Mirage', where there is the largest selection of fish and where the cook Michele is a master of his trade. There is no true city center. On a coastal area of 5 km, you will find seven different, easily reachable beaches. The windy coastal stretch around Sarazen tower Torre di Chia is a paradise for wind surfers and kiters. Divers love the clear water near Capo Spartivento with a diverse underwater world.
Surroundings included:
The Chia Golf Club with an 18 hole pitch & putt course is known for its panorama location on the beach. A ride on the steep coast street towards Porto Teulada in the West is stunning; cliff islands, coastal watch-towers, turquoise colored water, white beaches and blooming macchia offer a grandiose natural play. The beach of Tuerra is very famous and thanks to its turquoise colored water, it is a magnet for many travelers. In Teulada there is a good bar, the 'Capolinea' with its beautiful outside patio. In the Northeast you will find the small city of Pula (20 km) with good shopping facilities and diverse gastronomy. On the offshore headland, you can find excavations from the ancient settlement Nora. In the Roman amphitheater you will find lectures and concerts during the summer. It is 35 km inland to the caves 'Is Zuddas' by Santadi. Cagliari 53 km.
