There are many ways to spend your holiday at the Casa al Sole actively or at leisure. We are in a little-known natural paradise. The unique flora and fauna can be discovered on an extensive network of well-marked paths.
Hiking: Apart from the many possibilities right in front of our doorsteps, there are walks along the Merse river, near Volterra, San Gimignano, in the Parco dell'Uccellina below Grosseto or in the Chianti region.
Riding: The shady woods are the ideal place for a variety of short rides or treks of several hours even in midsummer. There are 5 horses of different breeds available at Casa al Sole. They are extremely sure-footed, good-natured and well-balanced. They are ridden western style. For beginners and children, we offer an introductory course familiarizing them with the horse and the basics of riding.

Biking/tour cycling: Bikers and tour cyclists find a vast track and road network of various degrees of difficulty. Mountain bikes are available at Casa al Sole for free.
Swimming, (sun)bathing: Apart from our own pool, there are many other possibilities. The attractive sandy beaches bordered by pine trees south of Follonica can be reached in one hour. Follonica is also home to an Aquapark that delights people of all ages. Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala are pretty seaside resorts. Those who prefer fresh water, can swim in the Accesa lake near Massa Marittima or enjoy the spas of Terme del Calidario or Saturnia. Altogether, there are more than forty spas in Tuscany.

Golf:
Golf: The 18-hole golf course in Gavorrano (Golf Club Toscana) can be reached in less than an hour. The golf course of Punta Ala has also 18 holes. Smaller courses exist in Colle di Val d'Elsa and in Follonica.
