The house "La tourette" was already mentioned during the beginning of the 18th century in historical documents. The domain "Font Vayssiere" used to be a mail carriage station, near this station you will find the holiday residence. It was reconstructed by the current owners - a German/French married couple during 2000 - 2002. While doing so, a lot of attention was paid to make sure that the style and atmosphere of a cottage from the region exist once again. Thick stonewalls made of quarry stone from the original property now form the current appearance. Inside there is 240 m² of living space with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room with a historical fireplace and an eat-in kitchen with a bordering utilities room. The house has modern oil central heating and a central warm water preparer. The electric appliances are all modern. Outside of the house, a lot of dreamy places invite you to rest and relax.

The domaine Font Vayssiere is geographically on the border of Perigord-Noir and actually belongs to the Departement Lot, but due to its closeness to the Departement Perigord - Noir and also the minimal distance to Sarlat, the capitol of Perigord - Noir controls daily life in the house "La Tourette". The holiday home is located in the middle of a region of evergreen black oak trees and lush green meadows. The closest house is about 100m away and is inhabited by the owners of La Tourette. The holiday domicile has a private driveway and the property cannot be seen from any other house. To the left of the house you will find the spacious pool with a surrounding terrace, the pool has a size of 12m x 6m with enough furnishing. For the guests we also have a ping-pong table. The complete property and the pool area are exclusively available for the guests of La Tourette.
