Climate, healing climate and therapy:
The southern Costa Blanca has 360 days of sun a year. Even in the deep winter, the average temperature is 18 degrees and you can eat in the garden during the day and sunbathe. In the winter, only the nights are cooler, but our good air conditioning heats the whole house in a few minutes. During the summer, you will find a lot of shaded areas on the patio. In the area there are a few salt lakes (Salinas). The high evaporation of water in the salt lakes creates a micro-climate with mild winter temperatures. Long days of sun, rare cases of rain and clean air (there is no industry nearby) are the climatic characteristics of this region. Recently, in addition to climatic therapy, highly concentrated water has often been used for the production of salt. The Salinas are maximum one meter deep and surrounded by about a 20 km long coast, thus, they can be easily reached from multiple sides.
Excursions and activities:
Everything is really possible here! A lot of types of water sports can be done on the nearby sea. The paths along the sea are beautiful and very well built with stunning views. 3 golf courses can be reached in a 10 minute drive. A Petanca train can be reached in 1 walking minute away and a playground and park can be reached in 3 walking minutes. Hot air balloon rides can be taken into Elche. Go-karting can be done with your children with different types of go karts (from children go-kart, to quad bike and race go-kart). New: guided four wheeler tours, super fun! Mini golf at different locations. You also have the option of going on other excursions that are definitely worth it! Terra Mitica - a beautiful amusement park near Benidorm. Eating and going out:
This region offers you something to eat! Here you will find countless restaurants with food from all countries. And the best thing is that some are even very cheap. During the day, you can ask for the lunch menu, there you get an appetizer, main meal, sometimes dessert and a table wine or a different drink for a very inexpensive price, at a Chinese restaurant with 1/2 bottle wine, for example, for € 4.50. The nearest restaurants can be found in Mil Palmeras, about 10-15 minutes on foot from your holiday villa.
Restaurants, bars, cafes, chill-out bars, ice cream shops and everything that vacationers love can be found here! Shopping in the supermarket or weekly market can also be done in order to prepare your own delicacies on the grill.
Golf:
Southern Costa Blanca is a paradise for golfers! 3 golf courses can be reached in a maximum of 15 minutes. More golf courses can be reached within a half hour, including the world-famous La Manga golf course in Mar Menor.
