Rural, idyllic, yet still near Palma (6 km away), you can relax at a finca - right between orange, mandarine, lemon trees, palm trees, cacti and rubber trees - and experience the authentic lifestyle of the island residents. With a glass of wine with a BBQ (with a Majorcan stone grill) you can enjoy the view of the mountains or the beautiful garden - year-round. Let yourself fall in love! Your small finca (guesthouse) has a separate access (house is lone-standing) and a small garden terrace - secluded from the main house. The pool area (pool ) 5 m diameter) is secluded and has a separate sunbathing lounge area. Is currently being refurnished, that is why there are no photos yet.

The idyllic and original village of Son Sardina with a view of a great mountain panorama belongs to the peripherals of Palma, but you still can't feel the business of the city. Here you are still a person, have siestas, you can sit - whether morning, afternoon or evening - if not on the terrace of the finca Pura Vida, then in one of the 4 typical Spanish bars at the square and you can feel the authentic lifestyle. A small supermarket (shopping centre about 4 km away), 2 bakeries, pharmacy, vegetable stores and 2 banks are located in the small village centre as well. Palma, the 'victorious' and proud capitol, can be reached in just a 15 minute bus ride or an 8 minute subway ride (!); here you will find everything that you need for urban life: restaurants, culture, bars, shopping, beach and more! From Son Sardina or Palma you can reach all attractions and interesting parts of Majorca with ease. From the train station 'Son Sardina', you can take the train directly to Soller.

Sport & recreation: About 8 km away (about 8 minutes) you will find a wonderful sport facility, similar to a camp. The following is offered there: swimming pool, horse riding/spring tournament riding, basketball, table tennis, soccer, tennis, squash, large playground, restaurant, etc. --a dream for children and adults!!!

Horse riding: In the nearby area (about 5 minutes by bicycle), you will have the possibility to go horse riding, horse riding excursions for experienced individuals and beginners.

Urlaub einmal toll anders

Hallo,
wir -Heinz (54) und Ingrid (48)-
wollten mal einen Urlaub auf Mallorca ohne Hotel und alles drumherum verbringen.
Nach etwas suchen wurde meine Frau auf die Finca Pura Vida, nahe Palma, aufmerksam. Schon der erste Kontakt mit Sandra und Hans per Email und Telefon hat uns veranlasst unseren Urlaub dort (16.8. bis 26.8.2009) zu verbringen.Per Mail hatten wir vorab noch andere Fotos, sowie noch viele Infos zur Umgebung und Aktivitäten erhalten.
Wir haben dort einen unvergesslichen Urlaub verbracht. !!
Die Beschreibung der Finca ist zutreffend. Die Ausstattung ist sehr hübsch und die Raumaufteilung fanden wir gut. Da alles an elektrische Hardware die man zur Essenserstellung benötigt vorhanden war, hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Ansonsten gibts einen tollen Grill ums Haus herum sowie auch die Möglichkeit im Son Sardina seinen Hunger zu befriedigen. Sehr geschmackvoll ist alles um die Finca herum dekoriert (Hans handelt mit solchen schönen Dingen). Da zu unserer Reisezeit die Mietwagen knapp waren haben sich beide um eine Reservierung bemüht, zu einem super Preis für einen fast neuen Fiesta.
Der versprochene Wohlfühlfaktor war real und nicht übertrieben (eher leicht untertrieben). Die Finca befindet sich gleich am Wohnhaus der beiden, was nicht störend war sondern sich als sehr positiv gestaltete. Für einen netten Plausch war immer Zeit, abends haben wir manchmal zusammen gesessen und über 1000 Dinge gesprochen.
Wenn Ihr mal einen ausgesprochen schönen, erholsamen Urlaub ohne Hotel und Büffet verbringen wollt, ist dies hier die ideale Adresse.
Wir haben viel Länder und Orte besucht - dieser Urlaub aber war etwas ganz besonderes. Schon vor der Abreise stand fest - wir kommen wieder!!!.

also ganz kurz und knapp (und faul) ;) - ich kann mich der bewertung der puravidafans nur anschliessen. es war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, super gelegen, da etwas abseits der stadt aber mit sehr guter anbindung. ausserdem gehört son sardina zu den orten, die uns (zumindest als mallorca-leihen) touristisch noch relativ unberührt vorkamen. es gibt z.B. in den restaurants daher keine hamburger oder schnitzel&pommes, sondern mallorkinisches essen. wenn das meerwasser warm genug ist, ist es besonders zu empfehlen abgelegene buchten zu besuchen - sandra hilft da gern beim finden (gelle ;-) ? ) und leiht einem schnorchelzeug aus.

also viel spass mit den beiden!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

wir (29 und 39 jahre) waren im juni 2009 bei sanda und hans zu gast. die beschreibung stimmt vollständig. das niedliche, sehr saubere häuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich nur denken kann, falls es dennoch an etwas fehlen sollte, tun die gastgeber alles um es zu ermöglichen. das bemühen der beiden uns einen schönen urlaub zu bereiten war unübertroffen. der garten voller blumen, eine kleine orangenplantage (die saftpresse gibt es natürlich auch im haus), die zahlreichen sitzmöglichkeiten und der außengrill boten uns die totale entspannung vor ort. die anbindung an palma ist ausgezeichnet (für 1,25 euro pro person und strecke ist man in weniger als 20 minuten am placa espana), sodass man neben der erholung abseits des rummels auch das pralle leben genießen kann. sandra und hans geben tolle ausflugstipps auch für den rest der insel. ein highligt war auch der spanische abend auf der terasse der finca, den sandra extra für uns organisierte. wir können jeden nur empfehlen den urlaub bei den beiden zu verbringen.
