Affordable but clean, modern and new renovated accommodation close to the white sand beaches. It's location makes a car not necessary as restaurants and shopping can be reached by foot and the beaches by the included four bicycles or the beach trolley, which swings back and for to the beach every 20 minutes. A bicycle trail not only goes to the beaches of Ft Myers Beach but also to Sanibel Island and Bunche Beach. The home is located set back in an open, quite community, away from all the traffic but still close to get to all main roads in just a few turns. A large public pool plus a second for kids with slides can be found in the Fort Myers Beach Community park.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rates are low introduction rates and only valid for the first couple of bookings. We just bought this place in March 2009 and have it new renovated & new furnished. Soon as we receive a couple bookings we would adjust the rates to the usual rates in our area.
    The weekly rate is valid for occupation with 2 adults. Every extra adult is $10 per day extra and every extra child under age of 12 is $6.50 per day extra. There is a onetime final cleaning charge of $80. All rates are subject to add 11% Florida taxes.
  • Free includet are: 4 Bicycles, Beach chairs and umbrellas, Internet PC, Phone with free national and international calls to landlines, yes, also calls to Canada and England are free! Free parking.
  • If you book for 7 or more guests you would receive automatically also the adjoining Whitewater II home. Each has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 laundry room and one private, fenced garden. Between the backyards is also a 6' tall fence but with a gate in case you want to commute with your family throughout both backyards. This lets you either enjoy privacy, inside and outside the home or you join with your friends an family as you like.

Notes: The kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchen ware, range, refrigerator, taster & coffeemaker. The private backyard is Western exposed and with an 6 feet tall privacy fence surrounded. You can find many tropical plants including some real large trees. You will love the 12' x 10' large screen enclosed gazebo with a cozy outdoor garden furniture set. Beside that you find launch chairs, a BBQ-Grill, and a power heated hot-tub/spa. We even thought of fold-beach-chairs and sun-umbrellas for you to take to your beach visits. No need to buy beach accessories in your vacation. For fishermen we include two fishing poles, which can be used to catch same fish at the pier at Fort Myers Beach for a later backyard BBQ.

Ich habe 4 unvergesslich schöne Wochen in Whitewater 1 genossen. Was dieses Haus so liebenswert macht sind viele Kleinigkeiten, an die die Vermieter gedacht haben: man kommt in der Abenddämmerung an - die Auffahrt und das Haus sind beleuchtet. Man öffnet gespannt die Tür, und es duftet sauber und einladend. Die Räume halten, was die Internet-Bilder versprochen haben. Im Kühlschrank sind Eiswürfel parat, und der Weg zum Winn-Dixie oder Publix für ein kühles Bier und die Lebensmittel-Erstausstattung dauert nur 2 Minuten. Was will man mehr?
Exzellenter HD Fernseher, Radio, Internet, W-LAN, ein guter PC mit Webcam, kostenloses Telefon - es ist wirklich alles da, was der moderne Mensch braucht. Besonders attraktiv ist die Lage: wer das Auto gern mal stehen lässt, ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad am Strand in Fort Myers Beach mit schönen Sonnenuntergängen. Und der Bunche Beach ist ein Geheimtipp (suchen, finden, nicht weitersagen…).

We enjoyed our vacation

We are a family of 4 from Schweden and we enjoyed our vacation at the Whitewater home. Everything was very neat and clean, the beds from high quality and we slept very well. All interior seemed to be brand-new. We found it convenient that restaurants and shopping are in walking distance and we rarely used the kitchen. To begin the Internet PC did not wanted to go online but a short local call to Frank the owner solved the problem within minutes. The whirlpool was fantastic relaxing.

Neatness, cleanlines, comfortable king size beds!

The promptness in communications was one of the parts we really appreciated about this rental experience! We had a wonderful time together as a family and with our son’s wedding! The location of your house is great! A couple of other things we loved were the big screen TVs and computers; the neatness and cleanliness of the home; the comfortable king size beds!
A great improvement would be a microwave in the kitchen. Thank you, again.

Dies war unser 3. Aufenthalt in Florida und hat uns wie immer gut gefallen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Fernsehen war top. Sogar Fernsehgucken aus dem Bett haben wir sehr genossen, ordentlicher Kleiderschrank mit ausreichend Bügeln. Perfekt für Allergiker da durchgehend Fliesen. Leise Klimaanlage mit guten Raumklima.
Verbesserungsvorschläge: In der Bratpfanne war es nicht möglich auch nur Eier am Morgen zu braten, es brannte sofort alles an. Neben dem Uhrenradio auf dem Nachttisch wäre ein zweites Radio im Wohnzimmer schön gewesen. Ausserhalb des mit Insektennetz umspannten Pavillion gab es am Abend draussen Mücken, insbesondere bevor die Stadt mit dem Hubschrauber gesprührt hatte.
Kein Grund nicht wieder zu kommen.

Owner's Response: Wir haben den Verbesserungsvorschlag gerne angenommen und bereits eine schwerere Pfanne besorgt und fur's Wohnzimmen ein Stereo-Radio mit MP3-CD-Player und sogar mit MP3-USB-Memory-Stick Anschluss bestellt. Das wird am August 2009 dort sein und damit kann man dann auch mitgebrachte Musik auf USB-Memory abspielen.
