Our house has two kitchens, one in each floor, so that two families can cook and eat independently. To the fantastically beautiful nearby located lake it's only a few minutes' walk. Lammhult is not only a fantastic recreational area, rich in deep green forests and crystal clear lakes - here you are in the midst of the Småland furniture empire, which is known for its traditional furniture manufacturers and famous shops widely known. And the Kingdom of Crystal is for Swedish conditions only a stone's throw away: Visit the world-famous glassworks beautiful hand-blown glass objects and buy them for good prices. Beautiful trips to Astrid Lindgren's charming little vilages Bullerbü, Katthult, Lönneberga, Vimmerby (approx. 2 hours), the lake Vättern (approx. 1 hour) and why not to the Baltic Sea (approx. 3 hours) are easy to make . Very close to the house is Lövshult lake adventure center Övingen which is great for young and old: 12 Icelandic horses for riding, football golf, Frisbee golf, water slides, adventure trail, climbing wall, obstacle course, soccer, swimming, fishing and an adventure village .
winter in Lammhult - magical! :
Beautiful snow, glistening white meadows and forests, go skiing or ice-skating, build snowmen and women, enjoy a good hot soup or a hearty oven dish for the entire company in the snug warm house - this is what winter holiday in Sweden looks like! Make yourself comfortable at the fireplace, read alone or aloud to others, enjoy a decent cup of tea or grog, the country life and the leisurely pace here in Småland! Ski:
Cross-country skiing is possible all around the house in winter, but of course there is a special track for cross-country skiing, too, which is illuminated and which starts at the Lammhult open air bath.
Golf:
You can play golf in Moheda (22 kilometers), Växjö (39 kilometers) and Värnamo (40 kilometers).
