Ski:
Wallgau's large 'Winter Plus'
on more than 150 km of well-prepared cross country trails, skiers and skaters can enjoy the snowy landscape and enjoy their fresh winter air in peace. Particularly popular is the Isar trail. On 15 km, it leads you past the sparkling river and along the snowy trees, very slightly upwards with the river to Vorderriß. Those who would like can take the shuttle - bus to Wallgau and back.
Skiing
Awaiting skiers are attractive ski regions with slopes of all levels of difficulty. Professional ski schools offer skiing, carving and snowboarding courses. On Germany's longest non-groomed ski decent with 7 km of powder snow for free riders is a pure natural experience in the middle of the Dammkar.
Ski regions nearby: The family ski region of Kranzberg in Mittenwald, ski region Seefeld, ski region Kreuzeck / Hausberg and the Zugspitze, the highest elevated ski region in Germany in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Transfer is not a problem with the ski bus!
Golf:
The Wallgau golf course borders the nature reserve area of the Karwendel with its wild river landscape of the Isar that passes in the north on a moraine tract from the ice ages. Surrounded by the Karwendel and Wetterstein, it has a driving range with 6 covered tee off areas. It is worth mentioning that there are two different tee-offs for women and men. The first 9 holes are played from the back tee offs, the second 9 holes from the front tee offs. The player will thus get to know the course from different perspectives and can feel like they are on an 18 hole course. The Karwendel golf club offers different golf courses for handicap players and beginners. A secret tip are the cozy food options in the Golfalm. A homey, traditional cabin with good food. A pure joy!
