Watch the colorful life on the Viktualienmarkt, Munich’s old, central market with its various stands and the most central Beer Garden of town just outside your door. You can hardly stay more central than here, a few hundred meters from the next Metro Station that connects you quickly to any other place in the city. Three bedrooms (one separated by a warderobe) with double beds and a sleeping sofa in the living room can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children.

You won't find any better place for your stay in Munich. The famous old market 'Viktualienmarkt' with its numerous stands, its vibrant life and the most central beer garden of town is just outside your door. The pedestrian zone, Munichs largest shopping mile, is only a few steps away. The amusement district Schwabing and the large park 'Englischer Garten' can easily reached by underground in only 3 minutes. Munich fair is 15 minutes by underground. All sights can quickly and comfortably be reached by walking or underground. It takes only 5 minutes to the highway leading to Salzburg on which you reach the lakes and mountains in 35 minutes.

Lovely Apartment, great location

My friends and I were delighted to find the apartment to be large and spotlessly clean in a really great location. The description hardly did justice to the place and we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The rooms are large as is the bathroom and kitchen. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend both the apartment and Munich to anyone thinking of going.

Clean Roomy Apartment and GREAT Location

My family and I recently traveled through Europe and Munich, Germany was one of our favorite spots. We found Joe's apartment through an internet search and were very pleased with the accommodations. There were six of us so it was important that we had good sleeping arrangements and room enough to spread out. Joe's apartment was perfect, well almost, I must say that the half bath is quite small - but then again many of the bathrooms in Europe fall under this category. However the larger bathroom that houses the shower and the bathtub is quite roomy and more then makes up for the small room that houses the toilet. The bedrooms were also quite roomy and very comfortable. The apartment, on a whole is very spacious, clean and well furnished. Joe was very helpful and made himself available to us throughout our stay. The location is perfect, with the metro stop just a few steps from the apartment and the downtown area is walking distance to an array of restaurants - you couldn't ask for a better spot. Be sure to check out the Discover Bavaria Tours or as they are more commonly known "Mike's Bike Tours of Munich." Great way to see Munich and a lot of fun.

Die Wohnung war bequem und extrem sauber. Sehr zentral gelegen. Leider befindet sich die Wohnung in der ersten Etage an einer Hauptstrasse. Ein Schlafzimmer liegt an der Strassenseite, ein Schlafzimmer guckt auf den Hinterhof, wo eine Restaurant Kueche auch fuer Laerm sorgt. Bei sehr warmem Wetter ist diese Wohnung problematisch, da es unertraeglich warm ist wenn man die Fenster zu laesst, aber unertraeglich laut wenn mann die Fenster oeffnet. Das dritte Schlafzimmer ist in der Mitte der Wohnung und hat keine Fenster. Wer unempfindlich gegen Laerm ist, wuerde ich diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen.
