The one hundred year old farm Häcken is located in an absolutely undisturbed secluded location on a large natural property in the middle of the Nordvärmland wilderness. The house and the three adjoining buildings are on a large clearing with trees and a wild flower meadow. On Häcken you will find 6-10 spaces for guests. The complex allows for a romantic holiday together and for relaxation and activities in larger groups. There is a barn hall with a fireplace and wood oven that offers a dozen guests space. All rooms have a wood oven. Häcken is the ideal starting point for winter sports (ice fishing, dog sled tours, Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, etc.) and for summer activities (river boating, gold panning, beaver, elk and wolf safari, fishing, swimming, etc.). In addition to many nearby swimming areas you will find a beach for small children with slightly falling gradients about 5 km away.

The hundred year old farm Häcken is located in an absolutely undisturbed secluded location on a large natural property in the middle of the northern wilderness. Nordvärmland is characterized by clear lakes & rivers (many w/drinking water quality), endless, slightly mountainous forests - the eastern foothills of the Norwegian mountains. In this natural landscape you will find bears, wolves and lynx - all three original large predators, in addition to many other animals. Häcken can only be reached through gravel paths through the forests south of the county city of Hagfor. Here you will find absolute rest, relaxation & seclusion! Häcken is an ideal starting point for winter sports (ice fishing, dog sledding tours, Nordic skiing and Alpine, etc.) & for summer activities (riding on the river, gold panning, beaver, elk and wolf safari, fishing, swimming, hiking). In addition to many nearby swimming places, there is a beach for children with soft, sandy gradients about 5 km away.
